Best thing about HC - Cheapest Condos in Vail Worst thing about HC - Cheapest Condos in Vail POS - The condos do have plates and silverware, oven, microwave, fridge and freezer, phone, fireplace, cable tv, dvd. Safeway & City Market located a couple miles west on S. Frontage road. Free Shuttle is not run by the condo... its the... more

My husband and I were in Vail for a wedding; we had to scrape our money together to be able to attend, as my husband was a groomsman. I was absolutely horrified at the prices in Vail until I found Homestake... it seemed too good to be true! We stayed for 3 nights during peak season and only paid $125... more

Its not as bad as the earlier reviewer states. Its good value, roomy duplex (good for skis and drying clothes) and with lounge, fireplace, full kitchen all for the same price of a small hotel room that you can't turn round in. more
