Here's the kind of story every parent dreads. We went out skiing, we came back and discovered our six year old daughters favourite thing in the world had gone missing - the teddy bear she's had her whole life. (Please try not to laugh like the hotel did). It was on the bed when we left (yes this bear has... More

The location of this hotel is IDEAL! Short walk to restaurants, shops, and most importantly the mountain including a place to buy your lift ticket. The staff was extremely helfpul - thank you Steve! They also offer very nice amenities but unfortunately I had a short stay and wasn't able to take advantage of anything other than the beautiful hot... More

Despite the fact that this hotel seems to be shadowed by others in reviews, I really liked this hotel and got a great rate on priceline/hotwire (can't remember which one). First of all the Lodge is located in the best part of Vail Village. Now considering that all areas of Vail village are great and relatively, this says a lot.... More

On our first trip to Vail we stayed as a family of four at the Lodge at Vail (LAV to locals) in a two bedroom delux room for a two week ski trip. Now, that's an expensive thing to do but the lodge lived up to our expectations and threw in a few nice surpirses. The accomodation at the LAV... More

My wife & I stayed in the Lodge in January 2012 when we had a great ski holiday in Vail.We chose it because of its location - within 100 metres of the Vista Bahn chairlift. The fact that the hotel was supremely comfortable, with very friendly helpful staff, served a delicious breakfast & had lots of amenities that are useful... More

Deluxe room is small. We were offered 3 rooms: one adjacent to lobby, one next to elevator, and one next to stairs. None had any view whatsoever. Our room was extremely loud and I am a deep sleeper. Complained to front desk, which was unapologetic. Buffett breakfast is gross. We felt food was stale/reused pastries. Expensive at about $32 per... More

They did not have our reservation in the system but were very accommodating with our group of 10 individuals and offered a presidential suite upgrade. The hotel was very pleasant and the little snacks in the evening for a delight. I would definitely come back in the summer and do some hiking and biking. Check out Blu's restaurant which is... More

My husband and I come up to Vail about 1 or two times a year and this is our first time staying at The Lodge at Vail. Used to be ski in- ski out (back in the old days) but now so many other resorts have grown up around it in Vail, is not exactly so but, close ( an... More
