Our fist catered chalet experience on the advice of friends who had been 2011.
The chalet hosts were perfect. Perfect hosts-helpful,friendly but not intrusive. Perfect Cooks -Sam with all meals. 'Shell with cakes, buscuits and chocolate brownies.

There are not a huge number of chalets to pick from in Vail - thankfully if you can get in at Ptarmigan you don't need to look any further. Great location with quick access via a free bus to Vail Village, very nicely furnished accomodation, well managed and clean, great chalet staff and fanatastic food. Highly recommended.
