We stayed 5 nights at the Galatyn Lodge and wish we could have stayed longer! All of the staff provided first class service and were always available to provide recommendations on restaurants to try. The Lodge provides a more personal experience than staying at a generic hotel chain. There are fresh baked cookies waiting for you after a day of... More

We had some friends fly in and head to Vail for the weekend. We hadn't seen a few of these friends for many years so we wanted to get up and connect. The Burton Snowboard event was going on so I struggled to find a room for less than $600-$1,000/night but via www.vailonsail.com I found a more reasonably priced room... More

My wife and I found the Galatyn Lodge for a short trip to Vail. The location was central to everything including the free Vail bus system. Our room was well appointed, clean and spacious. Brian and Andy were helpful with every aspect of our stay from getting our gear to our room to making dinner reservations. We would very much... More

We have been staying at The Galatyn for many years and love it. The Galatyn is a charming small luxury lodge minutes from the center of Vail village and minutes to the gondola and chair 6. The rooms and suites are very comfortable and spacious and decorated beautifully. The Staff - Andy, Brian and Roslyn are friendly and knowledgable and... More

The Galatyn was a very Nice surprise as this was a last-minute reservation and our first time staying there. The staff are extremely friendly, and even offered to mail me some clothes I did not realize I had forgotten there. The hotel is very nice and clean and it has a huge heated pool outside. It is conveniently located only... More

I've been staying at the Galatyn every year for the last several years. This last stay was very nice. The staff (Andy, Brian and Rosalyn) is extremely helpful, friendly and attentive. The rooms and accommodations are very nice and my stay was quiet and restful when I needed it. I'll be back next year.

Made a last minute booking with Brian who is, I believe, the manager of the property. He was so wonderful when we got in Friday night after our drive from Denver. He loaded up the luggage cart in the basement garage (which is considerably roomier than some Vail properties)including our skis, took us up to our room to unload then... More

Staff is incredibly attentive - and we had a LOT of needs! Heated pool was refreshing and a blast. Very clean rooms and very comfortable. Very easy access to the mountain - super easy. Big, giant, heated pool is a lot of fun in winter. Climate controlled underground parking is a huge luxury in the winter (other parking so close... More

The Galatyn Lodge was the absolute perfect place for my family to stay for our winter ski vacation. The size of the condo, the courtesy of the staff, and the proximity to the Gondola was all completely ideal. The kitchen was fully appointed with everything you would need to cook for a family. The sheets and towels were all similar... More

My family recently stayed at the Galatyn over Christmas and New Years. Perfect location in Vail Village close to everything but just far enough away to provide a quiet atmosphere. The room exceeded my expectations from a size perspective, but maintained a very cozy, warm feel. Two large, comfortable bedrooms and a large main room for the kitchen, living room... More
