We booked this resort through the American Express Platinum card Fine Hotels and Dinning program. American Express only brings in 4 star luxury hotels into this program. The Vail Cascade Resort is the first major disappointment we've had in 9 years using this program. Our "Deluxe" $650/night room was shabby, poorly maintained, with paper thin walls.
