Vail 21 Condos are right in Lionhead Village, in Vail. It's one of the oldest facilities in Lionhead, but old doesn't have to mean bad. There's nothing charming about the facility - really just a grey concrete condo. It could, and should, appeal to the value-oriented family, with modest expectations. There's no pool, hot tub or exercise room. Unfortunately, the... More

Would have been nice to have a larger balcony but the view and convenience was a trade off. Close to shopping close to resteraunts and the shuttles. Fairly quiet overall some noise when the bars let out but nothing too disturbing parking space was made for a very small car do not have a large vehicle if you plan on... More

Expedia lists numerous hotels under available with air conditioning. Vail 21 DOES NOT have ac. But is listed with other properties that do such as landmark. NO WHERE is that made clear. The rooms in vail 21 are dated dirty and the elevator is in disrepair.

Myself and 3 friends got a great deal and felt like we really lucked out with condo 404. Sure there were some discolorations on the area rug in the living room and an errant burn by the fire place, but this place had character. The eclectic artwork and "wonky" arrangement of it made it feel like we were crashing at... More

A great position just a short walk from Lionshead lift and the shuttle to Vail. Not hotel standards but nonetheless it certainly served the purpose.

Basic room which was warm and tidy and sleeps 8. Vail 21 building is based in Lionshead a short walk from the chair lift and cable car. Our room on the 5th floor next to the US flag pole had not been updated since the 1970's so there's no double qlazing which can be noisey early in the morning when... More

We stayed in a 2-bedroom-condo (Unit 401) of Vail 21 in Lionshead Village (Vail, CO) with our grown-up children in January 2010. Vail 21 has a central location. It is about 100 yards from the base of the Eagle Bahn Gondola, and a 2-minute-walk from the heart of Lionshead Village. The village has numerous restaurants, coffee and ice-cream places, various... We booked our stay at Vail 21 condo through the vail.com web site for last week of March in 2008. We've rented many condos in ski resorts in the US, have stayed in apartments in Europe and this was the worst place we have ever stayed. When we arrived , the condo was really dirty and lacking amenties. This included... More

Sorry for your bad experience. I own a unit in Vail 21 and we keep it in top-notch condition. It's rented through Destination Resorts -- they have high standards for condo owners and an on-site cleaning staff. More
