The best little motel I've been lucky enough to stumble upon. Jim, René, Donna and Butch really took me right in and made me feel better than home. Very clean, recent remodel. Plenty of hot water and good attitude. Dog and 420 friendly. Happy trails.

I noticed this motel has received mixed reviews but for not being a chain and given the nature of the town, I was content. The room had an updated bathroom with lots of wood and tile. I felt like everything was quite clean but my favorite part about the motel is its location as there are several resteraunts within walking... More

Stayed here on our Big 2014 Road Trip. Saw the big neon sign at twilight on old US 160 and thought we'd give it a try. The rooms have bulky rough-hewn wood furniture, but are comfortable. Close to downtown, but fast food is a longer drive. The owners were very helpful, and provided extra service with a smile.

After reading reviews on trip advisor I had higher expectations. I did not feel comfortable. Furniture , bed spread very worn down, but room clean. There is a frig. And hotel walking distance to a few restaurants. In future maybe will be fixed up but for now Not a place I would choose again.

This is the first time Tripadvisor reviews have really, really steered me wrong. I checked out within minutes of checking in. As I drove into the parking lot, I thought the place looked a little funky. I noticed air conditioners stuck in windows with plywood. But, after reading so many glowing reviews, I figured the rooms must be nicer inside.... More

The owners Jim and Renee Clark are the nice people they try to commendate each guests needs. There's a large deck with picnic tables and grill which they keep gas in it for the guest to use if they so choose to do so. Very rustic feel, very nice view from the decks, and with in walking distance of the... More

A friend and I recently stayed here before embarking on a bicycle trip. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. Jim, the owner, has been remodeling the entire motel, doing much of the work himself, and has done a great job. He was extremely accommodating to us by allowing us to leave our vehicle in the lot while on... More

Trail's End Motel in Trinidad is a classic 50's era single story motel with real keys instead of key cards. Nothing fancy but remarkably comfortable and clean. Very tastefully updated with very nice flat screen tv's. Very clean and really reasonably priced. With tax, our room with a queen sized bed was a tad over $60. I would gladly stay... More

Older budget motel with friendly young owners who live on-site, and it appears that other people live in the motel, as well. It’s basic but OK for the night. Had micro, frig, and wifi, as well as a great price. There was an awful lot of dog-barking from their pets, so beware if that would disturb you. Also unfortunate, the... More

We had had this motel recommended to us based on location The Motel is rustic, - sort of log cabin like, with seats outside each unit. There's also a deck with Picnic table seating and we were offered use of their grill The Motel Minders were excellent Hosts, nothing was too much trouble A Shell Station across the road for... More
