I stayed at 3 or 4 other Telluride properties including the Fairmont before discovering The Peaks. No other Telluride hotel offers the amenities needed to comfortably accommodate a family of 4. Personally, I really like The Peaks. Overall I like it more than The Madeline. The Madeline is VERY nice, don't get me wrong, but it doesn't have the large lobby, and large spa that The Peaks has.
