A reasonably priced lodge in a great location. Short walk to downtown, shorter walk to the gondola. This was the second time we've stayed here. Wifi was included in the room price, and a parking pass was provided as well.

First time in Telluride - chose Manitou Lodge for its reasonable pricing in a quite expensive town. Pros: location easy walking distance to gondola, town, several trails; beautiful creekside setting; nice sitting patio by creek; nice and convenient hot tub; able to fix our own dinners in the kitchen which saved on eating expenses - everything in Telluride is expensive.... So great location, with a deck so nice for summer hiking season. Nice to have kitchen but have to admit we did not really use it except to make coffee. Rooms are adequate but very small. Don't let the photos and loft concept fool you. It's very tight. Also, be prepared to haul your stuff up the staircase, and also... More

I've been swearing by TA for over 10 years now and have learned to take the reading of reviews with a "grain-of-salt" and not react very strongly to any one review, especially the negative ones. There are always a few "bitter" ones, but in this case I have to agree quite strongly with the reviews of UFO 123 and Laura... More

After we got a code from the office, the next fun part: We had to drag all our heavy luggage over the small bridge and then thru the 30" wide up a winding staircase to the 2nd floor. This lodge had NO air conditioning, so please be aware. The “sofa bed” was amazing! You can count all the spring coils... More

We searched for a budget friendly, yet safe, clean property and found it with this one! Our room (loft bedroom, couch and bathroom downstairs) was the most unique room I have ever stayed in! Truly enjoyed the experience. Parking in Telluride is a challenge, but we were provided an info sheet with the "rules" upon checkin. Breakfast wasn't as expansive... More

We recently spent 5 nights at Manitou Lodge. We had a room with 2 beds (upstairs) and a living area, kitchenette and bathroom downstairs. Both floors had balconies that had a view of the San Miguel river. We really loved the room location because it was pretty quiet but still only a block from the gondola and a block from... More

Mehhhh. Let me tell you a little about my experience. I am not one of those people that is hard to please by any means and it really does take a lot for me to write a bad review. I booked this hotel through Orbitz, the only reason I chose this place was because it was $50-$100 cheaper than other... More

I have had the best time at the Manitou. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is very friendly and I loved the hot tub. It's just one block from the Gondola and walkable to all of the restaurants and stores. I will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful creekside location at the base of Telluride Mountain, steps from the Gondola and town. The parking pass was a plus, too. The room was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was small, but adequate, bath towels and supplies were very nice. Surprisingly quiet, too, even though we were on the first floor very near the kitchen. Guests were respectful of... More
