This small hotel is located right at the bottom of the Gondola. Our room was a respectable size and had a gas fireplace. The Decor was nice. The Ski Valet makes life simpler. In general, what makes this hotel is the staff. They are all friendly, and make an effort to help. This is not the four seasons, but they treat... More

If you are thinking of skiing in Telluride, then this hotel is a great choice. They do everything to help you enjoy the snow. The location couldn't be better, there's a ski hire shop and the ski-pass office in the same building; there are two lifts (a chair and the free gondola) within a snowball's throw. After you have skied... More

Great room and property. Front Desk guy was a little in love with himself and unfortunately gave us some incorrect restaurant info, but nonetheless, a pleasant stay. Hot tub overlooks Bridal Veil Falls....a must do. Spacious, clean rooms.

Step out of the hotel onto the lift! Step out of the hotel into the town! This was the best ski in ski out hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable, we stayed with a big group and it was great to be able to see everyone at the breakfasts (which were continental and... More

We stayed at Camel's Garden primarily based upon the great reviews we read online and it definitely lived up to expectations. There is honestly nothing I could fault about Camel's Garden. The room was large and comfortable, with great little touches like a gas log fire and balcony. The staff were fantastic, both in their dealings at check in and... More

The hotel was wonderfully accommodated, the staff was so pleasant and helpful, and this made our trip that much more enjoyable! On top of everything else, our room had a beautiful view! The hotel is all-around in the best location! Will definitely be back!!

We have family in Montrose, so we have stayed in Telluride many, many times at various hotels, both in town and in the Mountain Village. A year and a half ago we came into town with our golden retriever, intending to camp. The day turned out to be very rainy and muddy, so I did a quick search on my... More

I did the same search you did and choosing Camel's Garden was the best choice I could have made. Here is a copy of the email I just sent them regarding my stay over Christmas week: "We checked out Dec. 26th and went to Santa Fe to complete our vacation. Even though we are staying at a highly reviewed hotel... More

Hotel is at the base of the ski area in the town of Telluride. There's a spa next door, access to the gondola is within the block, the restaurant New Oak is adjacent with several other local places to eat. Rooms are very large with outside access. Water pressure knocks you out of the shower and the tub is big... More

I am staying at this property and it's been wonderful! The hotel sits at foot of the Mountain Village Gondola which takes you (for free!) from Telluride to Mountain Village. The breakfast set up person, Brittany, was kind enough to accommodate our group which leave earlier than the regular 0730 breakfast time and she has been having things set up... More
