We stayed 3 nights at the New Sheridan Hotel and enjoyed the great downtown location. The hotel is located on the Main Street of the old town so it's easy to shop, dine, hike and visit the areas attractions. The entry to the hotel is thru a bar/dining area with a wall of colorful artwork. There is also the larger... More

I go to meetings of the a Telluride Science Research Center every year but this is the first time that I have stayed at this hotel. I found the service to be excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff, and a very comfortable accommodation. The food is good, as is the bar. I will plan to stay here again in the... More

The New Sheridan is a wonderful place to stay. We spent three nights and loved the location, room, food and service. The staff goes out of their way to accommodate you, especially the manager Mike. We were happy to be there and not in Mountain Village. The gondola is right down the street.

We stayed in room 308 (a cozy interior), which was very clean and spacious. The bed was so comfortable, and even the toiletries were first rate, The staff was welcoming and helpful, and dinner in the dining room was excellent. The hotel is located in the heart of old town Telluride. There was no air conditioning, but the fan made... More

This very old hotel from the 1800's has been restored so nicely. As soon as we walked in we immediately liked the place. The rooms were very comfortable and charming. There are great street and mountain view rooms but if there's a lot happening in town, these rooms may be somewhat noisy at night. But the hotel offers white noise... More

We make it a habit to seek out old historic hotels to enjoy their funk and character. None have topped our discovery of Telluride's New Sheridan Hotel. Loving restored and sitting in a prime mid-town location, one can experience the luxury and grand urge of the pioneer age of this old mining town. Plus the modern touches, too! Like the... More

I was excited to stay at the New Sheridan because of its colorful history. The rooms are beautifully updated. Historic but w a traditional and modern twist. The bathrooms are great. But truly, HOW could a hotel of this level not invest in a roof for their trash??? The trash can room - room 202. Don't think the other window... More

My wife and I have stayed at the New Sheridan several times, once in the winter and once in the summer. We love Telluride, and this place is great. It is quaint, right in the middle of town, and has very comfortable rooms. We have stayed in Mountain Village as well, but we prefer downtown. The french toast is amazing!

Stayed here in June 2014 and loved it. Very updated old hotel in downtown Telluride. Easy to walk the town from here. The desk help was superb. The rooms clean and comfortable. This was one of the more expensive Hotels on our Colorado Road trip, and also lacking in some of what we considered essentials, like a microwave, a fridge, and also no complimentary breakfast. The car parking was a case of trying to find a space at the back of the Hotel with a Hotel permit, which worked out fine, as... More
