This was one of the more expensive Hotels on our Colorado Road trip, and also lacking in some of what we considered essentials, like a microwave, a fridge, and also no complimentary breakfast. The car parking was a case of trying to find a space at the back of the Hotel with a Hotel permit, which worked out fine, as... More

We stayed in a third floor room that was very large and had a super comfortable kind sized bed. There was also a seating area at the foot of the bed. The bathroom wasn't huge but was big enough for us, clean, nicely appointed. We had a great mountain view from our windows. It even had a large closet that... More

The staff at the New Sheridan hotel and restaurant are great hosts and seasoned professionals. Our first room was very small and the hotel has no AC. I have a health condition which does not go well with heat. At 4 am the room had cooled to 78. The staff were wonderful and moved us to a corner room so... More

The room we got was quite small but cute! All the amenities are at hand, the bathroom is quite large and everything is clean. What's good is that there is no air conditioning and the windows are openable. The weather in Telluride is simply good - not too hot in summer, so opening the windows is enough to get cool... More

We loved the New Sheridan. It is the perfect stay for anyone visiting Telluride for the first time. Close to the mountain Gondala and on the same street as many shops and restaurants. We had one problem which was corrected straight away by the friendly front desk staff. We would stay again.

I travel a lot for work, so I stay in a lot of hotels. The New Sheridan was fantastic! Everything from the amazingly kind and helpful staff, to the hot tubs on the roof, to the clean rooms was 5 star. It combined vintage with modern perfectly and as an artist, I really enjoyed the character and charm. A great... More

From first glance, this is an old building, with lots of old charm. Walk through the door though, and you get the true Telluride experience. Located in the heart of town, I think this is a must stay if you're able to visit Telluride more than once. The hotel seems to have been updated throughout, and offers classic old western... More

My wife Marie and I recently stayed at the New Sheridan Hotel. It was Sunday morning (March 16) when I stepped out of the elevator and walked several steps before my feet slipped out from under me and I braced my fall with my right hand! Lesson #1: Ski boots are for skiing, not for casual walking. Staff picked me... More

We stayed Feb 2014 and I have to say that I am glad we decided to stay in town and this property is exactly what you would expect from an "old" new hotel. Small property with a great helpful staff, nicely appointed rooms and remodeled with an eye for detail. From check in to check out the staff was fully... More

3rd time staying at the New Sheridan - and next time we go to Telluride, we'll be staying here again. It really is superb. Totally central to the town, right on the main street next to the town hall. It's a very short walk to the gondola station. However, as we're feeling older now, we actually took the free bus,... More
