This very old hotel from the 1800's has been restored so nicely. As soon as we walked in we immediately liked the place. The rooms were very comfortable and charming. There are great street and mountain view rooms but if there's a lot happening in town, these rooms may be somewhat noisy at night. But the hotel offers white noise... More

We make it a habit to seek out old historic hotels to enjoy their funk and character. None have topped our discovery of Telluride's New Sheridan Hotel. Loving restored and sitting in a prime mid-town location, one can experience the luxury and grand urge of the pioneer age of this old mining town. Plus the modern touches, too! Like the... More

I was excited to stay at the New Sheridan because of its colorful history. The rooms are beautifully updated. Historic but w a traditional and modern twist. The bathrooms are great. But truly, HOW could a hotel of this level not invest in a roof for their trash??? The trash can room - room 202. Don't think the other window... More

My wife and I have stayed at the New Sheridan several times, once in the winter and once in the summer. We love Telluride, and this place is great. It is quaint, right in the middle of town, and has very comfortable rooms. We have stayed in Mountain Village as well, but we prefer downtown. The french toast is amazing!

Stayed here in June 2014 and loved it. Very updated old hotel in downtown Telluride. Easy to walk the town from here. The desk help was superb. The rooms clean and comfortable. The Chop House restaurant next to the hotel serves excellent but expensive food. The only downside is the parking. There is no parking lot so you park about... More

I am so please to hear you enjoyed your stay at our Telluride, Colorado hotel. Renovations were recently completed by renowned hotel designer Nina Campbell, bringing a contemporary touch to our still historic hotel. The perfect balance. This was one of the more expensive Hotels on our Colorado Road trip, and also lacking in some of what we considered essentials, like a microwave, a fridge, and also no complimentary breakfast. The car parking was a case of trying to find a space at the back of the Hotel with a Hotel permit, which worked out fine, as... More

We stayed in a third floor room that was very large and had a super comfortable kind sized bed. There was also a seating area at the foot of the bed. The bathroom wasn't huge but was big enough for us, clean, nicely appointed. We had a great mountain view from our windows. It even had a large closet that... More

The staff at the New Sheridan hotel and restaurant are great hosts and seasoned professionals. Our first room was very small and the hotel has no AC. I have a health condition which does not go well with heat. At 4 am the room had cooled to 78. The staff were wonderful and moved us to a corner room so... More

The room we got was quite small but cute! All the amenities are at hand, the bathroom is quite large and everything is clean. What's good is that there is no air conditioning and the windows are openable. The weather in Telluride is simply good - not too hot in summer, so opening the windows is enough to get cool... More

We loved the New Sheridan. It is the perfect stay for anyone visiting Telluride for the first time. Close to the mountain Gondala and on the same street as many shops and restaurants. We had one problem which was corrected straight away by the friendly front desk staff. We would stay again.
