I booked a room at the Ice House just hours before arriving in Telluride. The front desk clerk was very friendly and negotiated the rate with me (20% off) based on the timing of my visit. This hotel is perfectly located for skiers...mountain views and just a very short walk to the free gondola. All the rooms have been renovated.... more

The Ice House Lodge has two buildings - one for hotel rooms/suites and one for condominiums which are also rented out. It is 1 block from the in-town Gondola Station and 2 lifts for town-side double-black-diamond slopes, so it is effectively ski-on/ski-off.
