When looking for a place to stay in Telluride I kept finding expensive hotels but all I really wanted was a comfortable room close to the lifts. The Mountainside met all of my criteria and more. Walking distance to lift 7 (across the parking lot, with ticket desk and rentals) and gondola (10 min away), easy access to downtown, and... More

We drove over to Telluride from Crawford (a 2 hour drive) and while skiing decided to stay in Telluride to ski a second day and the Mountain Side Inn worked out great. The walk up rate was $118 all in... Included parking (which can be tough to find in town) and a light breakfast. Our room was a nice size... More

the room was very clean. room was quiet even if close to the parking lot. the furniture and decor is very dated. the floor makes a lot of noise. we only stayed one night but if I had to stay a little longer I would choose something a little newer. the very bad part was the breakfast in the lobby,... My husband and I booked a one bedroom condo this year while we were skiing in telluride at mountainside inn. It is not fancy but it is clean and well taken care of. Our condo seemed like it was recently refurbished so it looked great. The kitchen had wondeful appliances. The living room had a gas fireplace the king size... More

My husband and I checked in on a walk-in basis and was pleased to find a room available, the desk staff couldn't have been nicer, and for under $100. Our room was in the 200 building which contains the office, and it was fairly roomy, very clean, and well equipped: a small refrigerator with freezer, a microwave, lots of storage,... More

Stayed here three nights by myself Fri-Mon. Clean room and bathroom, flat screen tv with cable, free wifi, mini fridge, microwave, and a table. Great view of the river and mountains right outside. Walk to lift 7 in less than 5 minutes and to main street in under 10 min. Huge hot tub with extra towels. Quiet hours are from... More

Stayed in a 3-person family room with a queen and twin. Pros: Staff was friendly, efficient, and helpful. This is a no frills kind of place, so bargains can be found, at times - we paid $131 all in. The room was very clean. The tamales for skiers breakfast were delicious, filling, and included in the price (a rarity in... More

We stayed at the Mountainside Inn for three nights. The reasonably priced room had a two burner stove top, microwave, small fridge, and some cooking utensils, The room was a good size for two people, but could sleep three. There was a small selection of breakfast foods and good coffee in the reception. The main advantage is that the lift... More

The first room was musty and had to change. The rooms are carpeted. They hold the moisture brought in by ski equipment causing the smell. Second room was much better. The staff is friendly and helpful. Pets are allowed in some buildings at a $30 a night charge.

We thank you for your review and are pleased you found the change to solve the issue. In the winter, we do have to keep up with cleaning the carpets properly since the ski equipment is stored in the units. The unit you moved from was treated and cleaned by the Housekeeping staff that day and we appreciate that you... More

The only place available at the last minute. Really basic. It is clean beds are comfortable and so are the pillows. Very small rooms. It was okay and cheap for the holiday season this time but I don't think I will stay here again.
