We spent a week at the inn during a fantastic spring storm, and as expected, everything looks better with a coating of snow on it and when you're coming back from a powder day. As I was on a group trip I did not price shop for the Inn, but if it is at the low end of prices in... more

Get the Honeymoon Suite if you can as it has the best view of the ski resort and surrounding mountains. Fluctuating hot/cold shower water is a problem. The room humidifier was a nice touch. Management goes out of their way to please. 1 block to lifts and one block to town. Great location! Recommend taking the gondola to Allreds Rest.... more

I stayed here once last year and remembered it as being decent. This trip was less than decent. To start with, we booked directly through the hotel's phone number. She charged our credit card before telling us that there was a $50 fee for canceling at ANY time. She also quoted us the price without fees/taxes. A common ploy I... more

Nothing very Victorian... or Inn-ish about The Victorian Inn but "Good, Basic Hotel Rooms" does not sound as charming. The location was great for walking to the lift and around town. It was a bit noisy and the rooms that start with a 3 are below the first and second floor rooms so are sub-level DOWN UNDER the building. No... more

I stayed in July 2007. The property is near the center of town and very close to the gondola going to the mountain village. The property is squeezed onto a small piece of land. The hotel parking lot was full. I had to park in the street which required me to move before 10AM. The room was adequate. Be advised... more

The Victorian Inn is a clean, convenient, and relatively affordable lodging option in Telluride. The complimentary breakfast included just-baked cinnamon rolls and yogurt, as well as the usual other items. The location is great, just a block away from the free gondola that takes you up to Mountain Village. We enjoyed riding it all times of day and night--great views.... more

We were here for the jazz festival and stayed 3 nights. Our room was on the middle level on the lawn side near the spa etc. It got warm in the afternoons and there is no AC unlt, only a small inadequate window fan so we slept with the window open but were not bothered by any traffic noise. The... more

Room we had was on the lowest level possible. It rained when we were there and water 'pooled'outside our door. We were probably lucky it did rain because there was no a.c just a very small fan. Location was great just a couple of blocks from the free gondola ride which is definitely worth going on. Loved Telluride so dont... more

This was the least expensive accommodation I could find in Telluride and it showed. The best thing I can say about it is the location is ideal, steps from the free gondola ride and a five minute walk from the restaurants of downtown. Budget travelers who have stayed at Motel 6 will feel right at home. No soap (a liquid... more

As far as hotel rates in Telluride, yes it is affordable. However at the rate of $109/night - not that great of a deal. Our room was a corner room facing the hot tub. The room was under the outdoor stairs leading to the top floor - oh my, it is very loud at all times of the day and... more
