We stayed for two nights at the Aspen Street Inn. The location is fabulous, just a couple of blocks from both downtown Telluride and the gondola. I almost didn't stay here because of some of the reviews, but I'm glad we went ahead with the reservation. Yes, it's true that the windows don't have screens, but I see that all... more

The San Sophia was brought and is now the Aspen Street Inn. It is no longer the top notch B&B the San Sophia was. The breakfast is now not much better than a Holiday Inn Express breakfast. more

NOTE: The B&B located at 330 W Pacific Ave is now known as the Aspen Street Inn. The old owners continue to use the "San Sophia" name for other purposes. This review applies to the Aspen Street Inn B&B managed by Alpine Lodging not the San Sophia condo business. Most reviews on this hotel are about the facility now know... more

I made reservations in Dec. 2008 for a 4 night stay at The San Sophia for Set. 16 - 20, 2009. Peak time - Blues and Brews Festival. I paid half of the amount at that time. I received my confirmation. I was notified today by the property management company today - 3 mos later - that my reservation would... more

San Sophia had many positives - really yummy breakfasts (something different every morning), very comfortable beds, wonderful hot tub under gazebo, excellent location - just around corner from gondola and only few blocks to town and restaurants. Our "Orient" room was quite spacious. Lounge area was nicely decorated with comfy sofas, gas fireplace, and view of ski lifts. This was... more

This is a very nice B&B with a good breakfast and free wifi in the grand room. There was no wifi in my room 30 feet away. There was parking underneath the structure. The greatest part of this lodge is that it in right in the center of town. I parked my car and walked everywhere; granted that the town... more

My husband and I stayed at the San Sophia Inn in September, 2008. While there were no major problems, we were definitely disappointed. The San Sophia has a reputation as a top-notch luxury inn, but it did not live up to that, and certainly did not justify the high price we paid. We travel a lot and stay in all... more

Had a fantastic time in Telluride. We went to Telluride for one night but ended up for two. Definitely would have liked to have stayed longer. The San Sophia is a charming B&B with a very friendly and accommodating staff. The breakfast was was delicious with a ton of variety. This must be a great spot in the winter but... more

My husband and I stayed at the San Sophia on a recommendation of a friend. We just loved it! The room was perfect! Comfortable bed, large tub, bathrobes, Aveda products! The daily buffet breakfast was awesome-something to certainly look forward to each morning-homemade crepes, amazing french toast, pastries, fresh fruit, quiche. (Just a sample of some of the items served... more

My two children and I stayed at the San Sophia for three nights last summer. When the kids talk about our three month summer trip and the Telluride days they always mention this place as the highlight of our stay in the area. ( we had many great adventures) Their eyes lit up when they saw the room and my... more
