Candidly we arrived in Telluride with no reservations for Christmas and the only reason my family was able to get in is because Kiera Skinner and her management worked with amazing energy to slot us into a last minute cancellation. I have so many good things to say about this property, staff and management I'm not sure where to start.... more

...upper level staff seem to be too confident that their resort is the best in town and therefore seemingly resting on the laurels of early positive reviews. First impressions upon check-in were excellent. We were taken to our beautiful room, by a very nice guy, and found a lovely wine/cheese/fruit tray greeting us on the bed. We found the managerial... more

We LOVED this hotel! The staff is absolutely amazing - by the time we left the managers felt like family. The room was gorgeous and had all the trimmings of a trendy luxury hotel but without any of the stuffiness. I think part of this has to do with all the natural wood and stone details against its modern (but... more

After searching, we decided to stay at this hotel for our first two night Telluride trip. When our car stoped at the front door of the hotel, a staff member came out to greet us and gave us a brief tour of the property. The entire property is constructed with high-end details (light fixtures, furnishings, heavy doors, heated-stone bathroom floor,... more

We go to Telluride every year and stayed at the Inn at Lost Creek last year, which is directly across the street from Lumiere. I must say that the Lumiere is much better than the Inn at Lost Creek or any other hotel in Telluride. The personal service of this boutique hotel was exceptional. The entire staff we met called... more

We stayed in a one bedroom suite. The staff was excellent and very helpful. Loved the warm cookies after skiing. We had food stocked before our arrival, a real convenience. Very modern room. High end appliances (but surprised no ice maker/water in door of refrig). Comfortable furniture. Great comfortable bed (only surpassed by Chateau Frontenac Gold room). First time we've... more

My friend and I stayed here jan. 22 2009. This place is absolutely wonderful. Special thanks to kiera, madison and tom. We were so spoiled during our stay. The rooms are beautiful, wonderful location and service undescribably. Definitely will stay here again. more

My daughter and I joined another family in Telluride for a long weekend in January. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lumiere and will certainly return. We were picked up at the airport by the hotel car, a hybrid SUV, and driven the short distance to the hotel. The driver was extremely thoughtful and brought bottled water for our ride... more

We recently returned from our second trip to Telluride. We wanted to stay somewhere in the Mountain Village with ski-in/ski-out access. The Lumiere is in a great location, and the furnishings and decor in the studio suites are very nice, especially the heated floors in the tiled bathroom. We are typically not fussy travelers but found ourselves appreciative of the... more
