There are two properties that are part of 'Village at Steamboat'. The unit that I'm writing about is with the Wyndham Vacation Resorts and are part of several new buildings. The Village at Steamboat also has older buildings which have been painted to match the new property. We stayed in building 4 on the first floor. Everything in the unit... more

This is by far and away the best Wyndham (formerly Fairfield) resort my husband and I have stayed at in almost 8 years of ownership (and we use ALL our points every year). Starting with the prompt checkin, the NO-HASSLE parking pass - we explained we could only get 4 nights at the resort and had no time for the... more

A friend and I stayed three nights at the Village at Steamboat in February and were quite pleased with it. We had booked a 2-bedroom unit because we originally had 3 people, but one couldn't make it, so we had PLENTY of room for the 2 of us. We had unit 2408 in Building 4, which has underground parking, an... more

Returned from our stay at Village at Steamboat on Jan 10th. We were in Bldg 1, which is one of two older buildings in the development. We had a 2 BR, 2 bath unit on the 3rd floor. No elevators - had to climb 40 steps to the unit, which really wasn't a problem except when we were lugging suitcases... more

These are recently constructed units within the Village at Steamboat and are owned by Worldmark by Wyndham which is their timeshare division. My family of 8 stayed here the week of Christmas. We booked the timeshare through a vacation rental site and re-rented someone's timeshare. When we arrived we were told that the furnace in the unit went out (odd... more

Our room was so hot when we checked in @ 4PM, my wife immediately went to the temperature control on the wall and turned on----THE HEATER! Where's the air conditioner in this place? The outside temp was 90-95 in the day and 60 at night; which means we slept with doors and windows open all night to let in the... more

This is now a membership club condo. We stayed as guests of the owners (found on craigslist) on Feb 3-6, 2008. Very nice, remodeled fairly recently. Large rooms with nice fixtures. Full kitchen, washer/dryer. The snowplows woke us up on the main road. The TV in the living room was kind of small. Big bathroom, with full tub, sun lamp.... more

The Village at Steamboat is a nice place with plenty to do. The room we stayed in was clean and well kept. There was some mold in the shower, but otherwise in great condition. The kitchen was well equipped and maintained. We played both racketball and ping pong and were impressed by the number of DVDs to rent. We didn't... more

Just got back from a week at the village at Steamboat. Overall, a great place. The 2 bedroom unit was actually 2 floors and enough room for all. The staff was very helpful in everything. The 2 pools and hot tubs always clean and safe. A bus ran every 20 minutes to the ski area all day. Overall I would... more

This place is great! There are two pools, two hot tubs (one inside and one out for both), steam and sauna, game rooms. There is a great deck looking at the mountain and a fireplace for when it gets cold. We were there in August however and it got a little warm. I would suggest asking to have the room... more
