Historic motel from the 1950s, but well updated and very comfortable. Walking distance to downtown. Reasonably priced for the area. Nice continental breakfast is included. Fridge and microwave in the room were very helpful.

We stayed at the Rabbit Ears Motel in August with our family of 5. It is an independent, family operated motel that does a very good job. Our room overlooked the Yampa, and we could sit out on the deck and hear the river go by. The room was clean and spacious with a fridge and microwave, so that was... More

On our four-day visit to Steamboat Springs, my wife and I stayed at our regular lodging, the Rabbit Ears Motel. It’s a comfortable walk from the motel to the shops and restaurants in the center of town. The room rates are competitive for this recreation and vacation mecca. The motel lobby and breakfast area have been remolded. The compact, neat... More

Cute family run motel that sits on the Yampa River. Nothing fancy but clean with a great location to downtown Steamboat Springs. Would much rather stay here than be stuck at a location where you have to drive or take the shuttle. The farmers market on Saturday was a pleasant surprise with talented musicians and great food!

We stay at the Rabbit Ears Motel each year en route to the Vista Verde Guest Ranch. The rooms are clean and well supplied. The service is good. When our luggage was delayed, the front desk accepted it for us and held it until we returned from dinner. We love that we can walk all over Steamboat from our room.

The quirky pink rabbit sign that greets drivers entering Steamboat has beckoned me for years, and I finally had a reason to spend the night here. I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms and building are old but clean. You are paying for the location which is right next to the Yampa River and an easy walk to most of the... More

I try to stay at non-chain motels, and this one is just the kind of place I love - retro neon bunny sign and all! The staff are very friendly and they upgraded me too a bigger room in the back @ no charge. The room is very clean and BIG - maybe 30' front to back, with a little... More

My husband and I come to Steamboat at least once a year on our motorcycles. We have had to stay other places when Rabbit Ears is full, but definitely Rabbit Ears is our first choice. We like the king rooms. They don't have a view of the river, but they have a private back balcony and are very clean. They... More

My friend had made the reservations and evidently booked 2 double beds. When we got there the person in the office said she was upgrading us. I don't know which part of the hotel the original room was, but we were in the most easterly building and the river ran right behind our first floor room. We had a balcony,... More

Booked during the last Tour of Colorado Pro Bicycle Race...Easy walk to finish line. Walk to the Yampa River and Howelson Hill. Many restaurants near by. Classic Steamboat small town charm. Very nice staff!!!!.
