We stayed here for two nights - one night there was four of us and the other two. It may have been a bit tight for multiple nights with four of us. The hotel is quaint, the front desk personnel is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and there was room for all of our ski gear and... More

Because I didn't. I booked online on their website. They charge you $25 as soon as you make your reservation and after 3 days, they keep it no matter what. Even if you cancel weeks before the trip, you still get hooked for the $25. Bad policy, very unfriendly to travelers.

This is the worst experience I have ever had trying to stay at a hotel. We booked through Hotels.com, paid for our reservation and upon arrival at the hotel, we found the doors locked and the lights off. We picked up the phone outside the door, which rang through to the security who I explained the situation to, who proceeded... More

We chose this hotel because it was downtown and we could walk to everything we wanted to see. Small does not begin to describe the room and the bathroom. The biggest problem is the heat. No AC and if you open the windows to cool you are treated to the road noise. Coffee in the lobby, not until the staff... More

What it is - an historic hotel right in downtown Steamboat. Very convenient location. Walking distance to may shops and restaurants, the Yampa trail, bike rental shop, and the like. Because it is an older hotel, the rooms are small, as expected and noted in other reviews, but we had the room with the King-size bed and it was close... More

Thank you for the review and thoughts, as we greatly appreciate your comments. The King Room was developed based on past guest comments. We use to marry two single beds together with the industry standard "bridge", but we have found that our guest prefer a true King Bed. We also installed a mini fridge in the room to augment the... We stayed for 5 nights and couldn't have asked for better. Yes, the rooms are small but we expected that since the hotel is vintage. If we had wanted modern we would have stayed at one of the many newer or chain hotels in the area. We were looking for ambience and character and we certainly found it! So conveniently... More

Overall and excellent place to stay. Close walk to many restaurants and shops. The staff was helpful with recommendations. The perfect summer stay- all activities at your fingertips. Quaint & adorable. Small rooms but very clean. We will most certainly be back

Thank you for your review and comments. The main attributes of Hotel Bristol are its staff, its quaintness and its location. With being centrally located in the heart of Downtown Steamboat Springs, that does come with some of the inner worrkings of the City. The carpets in all of the guest rooms, as well as the carpet behind the front... More

We stayed at Hotel Bristol for two nights while visiting Steamboat Springs. The positives are that it is conveniently located right in the heart of downtown and has a restaurant that is highly rated in Trip Advisor. The staff at the front desk were very pleasant and there was coffee and tea every morning. The negatives are that there are... More

There's parking a few feet from the door, a big hot tub over looking Lincoln Ave., ( the main street), it's downtown so all the restaurants and bars are close, the rooms are just right size for one or two riders and their gear and the beds are very comfortable. The hotel is small and old style but very nicely... More

Thank you for staying at Hotel Bristol and the review. Small hotel in the heart of Steamboat springs. We were there in summer around July 4th. Walk outside the hotel and view the holiday parade. Rooms are somewhat small as it's an older property, but they're decorated nicely. Our room was darker than it needed to be due to double black-out window coverings - they could lose one set and... Thank you for taking the time to write a review for Hotel Bristol, we greatly appreciate your time. As to the shades, we purposely selected this shade arrangement, as some guest like to sleep in and prefer the option of darkening the room. The "top down/bottom up black out blinds provides the option to have as much or as little... More
