We were first time visitors to Steamboat Springs, on our way home from skiing in Utah. I wanted to visit and ski Steamboat, but because we were staying for only 2 nights we decided to stay in town vs the ski village. Selected Hotel Bristol because it was the only "historic" hotel in Steamboat Springs and because it's very conveniently... More

Excellent price-value combination. Ideal downtown location across the street from the free bus line serving the mountain and near many great restaurants, sites, etc. Hotel offers nice amenities and the service is great. I will stay here again. Be sure you read and understand the cancellation policy. It is not standard but is clear.

Hotel Bristol was having a special and seemed like it was a good price for a hotel located downtown. It was perfect. The staff was super friendly and even let us park in the lot hours before our check in. The room was small, but perfect for just the two of us. I'm not certain if they have bigger rooms... More

My stay at the Hotel Bristol started with a phone call to their front desk, Natalie helped me book a room with friendly professionalism. Check in was handled with ease. And a strong knowledge of the town was displayed by the staff as they assisted me in finding excellent dining at a local restaurant within walking distance. The room was... More

Pros: Our family of four spent an absolutely beautiful Christmas ski trip at this charming hotel. We stayed in the family suite, which offered us a separate bedroom for the kids. The separate bedroom made a longer hotel stay feel more relaxing. The rooms are small, but we enjoyed the front reception area table for family game night, and a... More

I got a great deal on this room (I believe it was the last room, so they put it on hotels.com so they would be at no-vacancy)-- and it was exactly what I was expecting! This is a historic hotel in the heart of Steamboat Springs-- I believe it's the only hotel in the city proper. We could walk to... More

Thanks for choosing and staying at Hotel Bristol. We appreciate your feedback it is very important to us. I apologize that the pillow were a bit to thick. I will be looking into purchasing some thinner pillows. Our bed were replaced in fall of 2012. They are pillow top mattresses which are a bit softer then some people preferences. We... More

I absolutely loved the charm of this hotel. my friends and i stayed in the queen family rooms. the rooms are small which is to be expected from an older hotel but i was able to fit everything in my room. I see some reviews complaining about not having a fridge. There are some rooms that had a small one... More

The location in downtown Steamboat is great. The rooms are small, bathroom is tiny. Surprisingly quiet for downtown. You give up a bit for the convenient location. No views, no balcony, no fridge. The value was decent, walking distance to lots of restaurants.
