4 college friends arrived Saturday afternoon to a quaint room without a microwave or stove. The room had 2 coffee mugs, a minifridge, and a coffee maker along with 2 queen beds. The beds were comfortable and the TV was suitable. The first issue we had was their was never enough towels given for us. Second, the gas grill was... More

A bit hard to find, but I had called and had been given excellent directions. It is located behind another property (Steamboat Motel< I think) with a somewhat similar name, and by behind, I mean through the other Hotel parking lot to a narrow drive. So, yes, a bit difficult to find. But the room was an excellent value for... More

This is a very basic hotel. The rooms are clean. The breakfast is very limited: cheerios, English muffin, waffle, juice and coffee. You can buy a frozen breakfast burrito for $1 cash. The place locks down at 10pm so when we showed up to check in late we had to call our friends at 1am who had checked in earlier... More

We were looking for a wknd getaway and decided to drive up to Steamboat springs. Since it was kinda a random trip we didn't want to spend too much. And compared to other hotel prices for the value - this is a great value! The innkeeper was extremely sweet. Beds were comfortable and room was much better than what we... More

This is a great property for a weekend or so - but you have to look behind the Steamboat Hotel to find it. Nice enough for the rate we paid - bfast was ok - burittos available for purchase. My TV cable was out - but was not in the room long enough to worry about it. Front desk young... More

Great location near the downtown. Room was very clean and large. It was off season so the price was great. If we weren't passing through I would have loved to stay another day. Staff was great and super helpful. The breakfast was so so good!

My husband and I stayed here in late October 2014, the end of a glorious Colorado Fall, it was still 60 degrees during the day. Very low season, got a very good price. Town not crowded. Lodge is set back from road, so very quiet. Lodge is right on the bike path (approx. 4 miles end to end along river)... More

While our room at the Mountain Lodge hotel was fine, the wifi signal was rather weak and a somewhat threadbare towel rather took the shine off a spacious and well-stocked bathroom. Apart from the coffee and orange juice, breakfast was poor: too many sugary cereals, muffins and waffles but not a lot more. All this wouldn't have mattered so much... More

This place may not look like much from the outside, but looks can be deceiving. The staff are very friendly, comfortable rooms (beds are firm, yet cushiony), good basic continental breakfast. If I came back to Steamboat Springs, I would absolutely come back to this establishment.
