We pulled into this campground and were given their "last available" full-hookup site. The site was so muddy, we couldn't put our camper in it. There was mud everywhere. This campground should invest in some gravel for their roads and sites. We quickly returned to the office for a full refund. I would most definitely not recommend this place.

My friends and I take a trip from the other side of the pass ( Summit County) each year. We camp on the river ( Site 34 is great), tube, relax, cook out, play putt putt, play Frisbee and catch some free music in Steamboat each summer in town. The little cute store is so fun to check out when... More

DON'T STAY HERE!! While initially this place appeared suitable for our 2 night stay, we had an unexpected issue arise - our RV leaked during a heavy rainstorm causing an electrical short. I was unwilling to take the risk of troubleshooting this during the rain. With my 2 little girls, ages 6 and 3, along with my aging parents in... More

I have to agree about the customer service. Really guys, u need to listen & improve here. Try answering the phone too! Perhaps u could fix the pool table already & stop with the musical chairs with the sites. Can't you plan them better? I literally seen two rv'ers switch sites, both leaving the following day. Makes no sense. All... More

I was on teh tent side of the property. The shower house, which was filthy, was about 150 yards away. The bathrooms were closer but inadequate for the number of people and also filthy. the tent side is just a big open lawn area with no pretense of actual spaces or trees for a bit of privacy. It was also quite... We booked 5 days before arrival on a weekend, and were not told what our site would be. When we arrived, we were given an "alternative", which meant uneven grass site (for a 30 foot trailer), 50 feet from a busy highway and bright road sign, picnic table covered with bird poop. Not what I had in mind for the... More

We stayed here in September of 2013. The campground was very nice, but it took us 5 attempts to make the reservation. They never answer their phone and they do not call you back. I left my name and number each time so it is not like they did not know who to call. We only got a response after... More

4 of us from Denver went up to Steamboat on a whim for a one night stay and happened upon this place in search of a tent site. Because of the minimal difference in cost, we opted got a "camping cabin" instead. (Even the cottages with a kitchenette were only $30 more a night.) It was love at first sight!... More

My fiance and I decided to take a mini trip to Steamboat mainly to go to Strawberry Park hot springs and do a little hike. We only wanted to stay one night and were on a tight budget. We wanted to just camp because it was the cheapest route, but then I found these cabins at Steamboat Campgroud. I read... More

We were so pleasantly surprised at how wonderful this campground was to stay at! We have stayed at many campgrounds throughout the years and this by far was one of the best. The staff is very warm, friendly and helpful, the amenities are above and beyond what we expected, and just overall our whole family had a great time. We... More
