Really great staff, best place we stayed during our road trip! Our plans did not go as we hoped on the last day of our trip, so we ended at Ute Bluff Lodge without a reservation, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we got a room, were comfortable, and recommended a great place to eat. If we ever end up back in that part of Colorado, definitely staying there again!

The room was decent, bed was firm which was great for me. Small, but all I needed. The hot tub was outside and it was cold, but i was happy with the hot tub. The woman half of the couple, Claire, was a little edgy in attitude, but overall, very happy.

This is a very old out dated lodge/cabins. I normally look at the rooms before I book it but didn’t on this because the exterior looked very neat and clean. While checking in, the gentleman was very distracted by trying to keep his 5 dogs inside the office area. Once we got into the motel room it smelled musty, the carpet was dirty, hair in the shower, old dirty chairs and old yellow lamps. We could here every movement from the room upstairs. On the positive note the bed was comfortable and the water pressure was good.

Christian (sp?) was more than welcoming on out 1 night impromptu stay with our Labrador. Room was spotless and we got a good night’s rest. It was not right in town, but very close to the cafes and restaurants in South Fork.

We have stayed at Ute bluff many times over the years with many different owners. Christian & Margareta are supper nice people and welcome you to their resort like old friends. The rooms are clean and the over-all service while there was well above average. We will definitely be back!!

What a great place! Conveniently located. Campground fit our 43’ toy hauler nicely. Easy access to OHV trails and some awesome riding and site seeing. Host gave us a map of the trails and suggested sites to see. We loved our experience here and will definitely stay here again! Pet friendly for our 2 dogs as well!

New beds were good, water was ice cold which was great at 85 degrees out. Shower was great with plenty of hot water. We sat outside when it finally cooled off and a gentleman who was helping maintain the lodge started watering the hanging plant right above us—- so before we got soaked we had to leave our sitting spot!!

Our stay has been good, however we were very disappointed when we asked for extra bath towels, and the manager told us NO! He told us to use the towels and hang them up and use them again in the morning. It would be ok if the towels dried overnight but the brochure in the room says to please let them know if we need anything and it also says that additional supplies, including bath linens are available from the office. So showering at night after a long day of fishing and other outdoor activities, to get the sunscreen and bug spray off is not an option if you want to have a dry towel for your morning shower. I guess they figure it’s better to have the bed linens soiled from all that stuff than to just give you more bath towels.

Shelly, We supply 4 towels with each room you paid for 2 persons so the towels should be enough if you have additional people in your room then you should have told us and it says on or webpage and brochure that there is an additional $10 per person and night. Also here in the mountains we try to saver on water, if you use soap the towels are not dirty and can be used again that way we save our environment. Back home I am sure you only use your towels only once.

Once again. Too tired to make it home and this place did not disappoint . Super friendly owner. In room 27 double queen firm memory foam beds. Super clean. No ac but the fan was great. Soaked in the hot tub. Room has microwave, fridge and coffeemaker. Still road noise so bring earplugs. Getting ready for serious zzz's.
