This is a cozy community with a friendly owner, very close to one of the most beautiful ski areas - Wolf Creek Ski Resort -, cabins are super clean and comfortable. Great place to hike, fish, all kinds of outdoors, plus, they are budget friend, too.

Lazy Bear Cabins is the place to stay. We went skiing at Wolf Creek (great place to ski) right after Christmas and these cabins were just wonderful to stay at. Just two of us staying, but we loved the coziness of the cabin, the kitchenette (fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils etc.), not mention the TV and DVD player too!... More

I have stayed at many different cabins in South Fork over the past 10 years and these are by far the best. The cabins are very clean, beds are comfortable and the host are friendly. Next time I head to South Fork I will stay at Lazy Bear Cabins.

We stayed at Lazy Bear Cabins right after Christmas. The price was great. We booked two cabins. Both cabins were clean and very comfortable. There were 7 adults and two children in our group. Suzie helped us with making sure that we had adjacent cabins. I was suprised that they came every day and emptied trash, swept the area by... More

These cabins are great. A terrific value for a two bedroom with Kitchenette, we generally stay a week during the Christmas holiday. Suzie and Ted and Sampson are so friendly and attentive, we look forward to coming for years and years. We ski Wolf Creek, just 20 minutes up the pass ( great skiing by the way) andare able to... We had to change our vacation plans at the last minute because of the Colorado Springs fire, and the staff at Lazy Bear Cabins made room for us. The cabin was clean, had reasonable rates and comfortable beds. I saw the owner at the local grocery store and she told me she would let me borrow whatever I was about... More

My family has been staying here for years and we just love it! These are fishing, hunting types of cabins for people doing outdoor activities in the area. I believe all the cabins have two bedrooms and probably sleep 4 comfortably....maybe 5 if someone is on the couch. They provide all the linens you need and you should bring your... More
