In the Wolf Creek pass area near all the ski and hiking opportunities there aren't many hotel options aside from driving all the way from Pagosa Springs. The Lodge provides an inexpensive, but well maintained hotel in SW South Fork just minutes from the pass. The beds are comfortable, rooms well appointed, and the owners are personable. Recommended.

I feel compelled to write this review because I have experienced first hand from Bob, the owner, what great hospitality is. The minute I walked into the reception area, Bob greeted me with the most welcoming smile. I instantly felt at ease from the exhaustion of long travel and felt like I'm home. The rooms are well-furnished with kitchenette and... More

We only stayed one night. The price was right and the rooms were dated but adequate. The best part of the trip was the friendliness of the owners and how they genuinely cared for you. Would definitely recommend this location and we would stay there again.

The inn keepers are the nicest people you will ever meet. They know your name and are warm and friendly even though they just met you. The location is in the Valley, near the river, and even though its right off the highway- the rooms are very quiet. We didn't even hear the motorcycles start up the next morning. Beds... More

I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality and cleanliness of the rooms at WCSL and I'm a hotel SNOB!!! From the outside it looks like an average motel, but the room are very clean and well maintained. They also have two large, well maintained, clean hot tubs on site. I would stay there again and recommend to anyone considering... More

We were a little confused as we thought it was located at the top of Wolf Creek Pass were the Ski area is. But it is located 17 miles north of the Ski area in South Fork. So we had to call for directions. The beds were great. Room clean.

Wolf Creek Ski Lodge has reasonable rates, and clean enough rooms, but there were a couple of things that we found hard to deal with. First, because they think that air conditioning is unneeded, they don't have that in any rooms. OK, we can deal with that. But then, they don't have a ceiling fan or a breeze box.... and... More

Cleanest motel I have ever stayed at. I think they are possibly some of the best innkeepers in the u.s. They have thought of everything anyone would ever need on a trip. If I am back in the area I will definitely stay here. Also super friendly owners who are very willing to help

It looks likes most older properties in small towns, but you can't tell a book by its cover. The rooms are as spacious, quiet and well-appointed as any Clarian or Holiday Inn. Absolutely, perfect!! While a breakfast is not listed on their website, the owners had plenty of coffee brewed and a nice variety of edibles in the morning. They... More

This was our first time in South Fork. We planned to ride the Silver Thread Scenic Byway, so this was a logical place to spend the night and hit the highway the following morning. From the moment I called to make the reservation, I had a good feeling about the owners and our upcoming stay. I am happy to report... More
