This was our first trip to Fun Valley for a square dance week vacation. Square dancing and round dancing are alternated and we thoroughly enjoyed watching the round dancers. The callers are experienced and do their best to make it fun for all levels of experience. Lessons are also available as part of the dance package. There are planned activities... More

We intended to stay 2 nights on our many stops during our family vacation. They say they have "lakes" for fishung but in reality they are small "ponds". We paid $25 each person for fishing and did t catch a thing. We decided to leave a day early and asked if we could change our fishing from The five day... More

We stayed from August 2nd until August 9th, this was our 16th summer camping in FV.....and we were able to bring our 9 month old grandson on this trip. Our oldest son, his wife and the grandson stayed in a Rent a Trailer....of which we stayed in on our very first visit. We were able to stay across the street... More

After visiting several years ago - with a trailer - we decided to try a return visit. This time we opted to rent one of FV's rental trailers. We paid for 5 nights but went elsewhere after 3. Our rental had a bad and persistent sewer smell plus was just plain shabby. In fact, the entire place was more worn... More

I had a very hard time talking to anyone over the phone when I went to cancel. We are a party of 5 campers and cabins. My son and his family along with another camping party, after staying one night, was confronted by the manager/owner over their pomeranian pooping. My 6 year old granddaughter was walking the dog and apparently... More

We did not get to go to Yellowstone last September due to the heavy rains in that area which washed out some of the roads and closed others. We did go in early summer to the Badlands, Mount Rushmore, Little Big Horn, Yellowstone, and the Tetons. We met our 3 kids and their families at FV. Needless to say, the... More

First a little background. My family has been outdoor camping for the last 45 years. We've traveled the country staying at state, national and private campgrounds in everything from a tent camper to a class A motorhome. We just retuned from a two week vacation at Fun Valley Resort. Our neighbors recommend a visit to Fun Valley. They were park... More

We just got back from FV. Fished, hiked, played horseshoes, walked in the river and spent time with my child that will leave for the Army in one year. I wanted quality time with him~ that is what I get at FV. Not much cell phone reception, PERFECT, not much internet, EVEN BETTER. We went to unplug, talk, enjoy each... More

I've come here since the 80s. The kids love it and now it's tradition to come here. However, now that I older, I see areas than need improvement. The sites have not grown with the times. The rv sites are the same size they were 30 years ago and today's RVs are so much larger. We had 2 sites and... More
