This was our next to the last night of a long road trip through Utah and Colorado. Siverton has special meaning to me as my family came in here in the 1950s while the mine was still working. On subsequent trips, we towed our Jeep here to tour the high country and the various mining districts. This was before Jeeps,... More

Stayed overnight in September and felt the room was ok. Beds were soft and bathroom was nice. But I don't understand all the reviews about how wonderful it was. It's overpriced at $140 per night and if you wanted breakfast you had to pay more than that. I won't stay there again. Didn't feel the value was there.

A fantastic atmospheric hotel taking you back to the days of the gold rush and wild west. Lots of nice touches and antique furniture throughout the hotel but balanced with very comfortable rooms, friendly and efficient service and a great location for exploring the area - you can drive easily to the Ghost town of Animas Forks as long as... Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in av ery spacious room, I think it was the Miners Room at the back of the hotel. Very comfortable bed and great linens. Large bathroom with good towels and toiletries. Tea/coffee and homemade cake is serves between 4-5pm and then wine and cheese. Homemade cake and cookies were excellent and it was... More

If you are looking for a turn-of-the-last-century hotel experience, this is your place. There were many antique furnishing which I assume are original to the hotel - a piano (that you can't play), a chess set (which I think you can play), and several old prints on the walls. It was like staying in a museum. Hotel staff was friendly... More

This was my first stay at a bed and breakfast and it was great! The building was built in 1904 and is in excellent shape. Our room was clean, comfortable, and pretty, with a great view of the city hall and the mountain behind it. Fresh, homemade cookies were available in the afternoon, as was wine and cheese in the... Stayed there with my girlfriend and son in early Sept 2014. Victorian feel with modern amenities. Loved our stay and optional breakfast much better than usual fare. Great mining museum with extensive rock and mineral specimens up the street to east.

We had 9 of the rooms reserved for a wedding party which included older family members unable to climb stairs (quite steep). All of the rooms are different - very quaint. The owner Tana and son James were very accomodating with our requests. Breakfast was great each day and also had wine and snacks happy hour which we enjoyed. Quaint... More

If you are the sort of person who appreciates a charming, quirky, obscure and out-of-the way places like Silverton, you probably do not want a room in sterile business-class hotel with a window that looks out over a parking lot or shopping mall. At least, I hope so, as there does not seem to be any of that sort of... More

Just returned from four day stay at this B&B in Silverton, Co. The building was built in 1902 and it was like stepping back in time. We felt very welcomed from the minute we stepped into the lobby. Lovely furnishings, the Owner Tana and her son James were great! Ceceila was our server for breakfast each morning and always had... More
