"My friend Carole and I traveled to Silverton together, which had been on the bucket list for quite some time. We decided all we had to do was get in the car and LEAVE! We are so happy we did – it was all we expected and MORE! Nothing, no words, no descriptions, could adequately describe our experience, of which... More

We stayed in room #1 and the bathtub was disgusting. Mold and stains. We could not use it and we ended up taking sponge baths. The room had no lamps or nightstands--only overhead lighting that was way too bright. At check-in, we were asked "What level of housekeeping do you want?" The room faced the street and the sidewalk was... More

What an amazing town and I don't know anywhere this beautiful that you could stay for this price. Andy, the owner is a nice guy Who has lived there for a number of years and is always willing to help or guide your adventure for the day. He's also very flexible and willing to work with you on your study/travel... More

Wouldn't stay there again. Strangely loud. No screens on the windows so bugs bugs bugs. Clean for as clean as old and out dated could be. And not outdated in a historical sense. We had three rooms and we were all thankful the short stay was over. On the good side, the manager was very very nice and accomadating. Here... More

Why pay up and stay at a stuffy "B&B"...stay here and meet a real owner who cares. Andy makes it fun and that is so cool. Walk around Silverton and explore some local pubs and local pubs. After seeing some local pubs you might want to take a nap in your wonderful king size at the Prospector.

Upon arrival in Silverton at ~ 6:00 p.m. I looked for a place to stay as I had travelled a long way on my motorcycle that day. I went to the office and there was a note on the door to call the owner. He was having dinner at home but arrived very quickly. We had a great chat and... More

The rooms were clean, comfy and big! Reminded me of a 70's cabin feel but just added to the ambience of the town! No fridge, or microwave but cable tv and the wifi is decent but to be expected in small mountain towns. Stocked with clean towels and extra soap and toilet paper. Friendly owner as well.

I was surprised at the reasonable cost and how clean it was. It was fun to have a place to stay while I explored this quaint little town. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Not fancy, but everything worked just fine!

We so enjoyed our stay, the rooms were clean, roomy and in a great location to walk through the town to all of the shops. We wished we could have stayed longer but we had to head home early due to the flooding rains that hit Colorado during this time. Love this town.

During my stay in Silverton, Co I had to stay at two different hotels. This hotel I believe has the lowest rates. No fridge, Micro. The room was clean and comfortable. I would stay there again. Hotel is located in the center of town.
