We reserved a certain RV spot and cabin for our group. We met our Seattle tribe for a week in Silverton. Upon arrival, our RV spot was taken. Jim moved them out to satisfy our reservations. And blamed the mix up on Amy. She took it well. RV park was spotless. No other problems were observed. Close enough to walk... More

This is a combination RV park, cabins, and motel type rooms. We stayed in the motel. Rooms are old but clean. No amenities... Bring your own blow dryer. Mattresses are old and not very comfortable. Grounds are nice, owners friendly. We didn't come to Silverton to hang out in town or at the motel. Property is on the OHV route.

After two nights in a tent we were so thankful for a place to stay out of the rain! We stayed in room ten which had enough room for all six of us. It was a REALLY old room, but immaculately clean, and nice comfy beds! My kids said that it had the feel of being at camp, and made... More

Absolutely the most Terrible service I have ever had in an RV park. The owner lost our reservation from the very start. Dogs running loose and would stray into your campground. Very unfriendly on phone. Don't waste your money here. If you disagree with his policy he does not want to hear it. Even was very unfriendly about providing wi-fi... More

This was my first time staying at Red Mountain, but it will not be my last. Reservations were easy to make over the phone, I'm not sure that they can be made on-line although there is a web site. The owner, Jim, checked me in and led me to the campsite then helped me back the trailer into the site.... More

This is our second time staying at Red Mountain. It is family run and their son, Levi, was super helpful. I was disappointed with the cabin as they need to be updated. We were able to move to motel room/kitchenette for the next 2 nights and what a difference. A great place to stay, play, rent a jeep and head... More

This is our third time starting here. Staff is a pleasure and the surrounding views are amazing. We stayed in our trailer in the lower campground and the restrooms and showers were clean and ready every time we needed them. It is a short walk in to town and the Durango train stopped f right next to our camp.

We wandered into Silverton after staying two nights in Ouray. This place is a very good value. It's a combination motel/cabin and RV park. Easy to walk to town from the grounds. We had a small cabin that was clean and comfortable. Kitchen was equipped with everything you'd need for the weekend. Staff was very friendly! We would definately stay... More

Rented a jeep for half day to explore the back country. After checking with some of the other rental agencies in town, this was by far the best people to rent from. Although rates were all similar, the attitude of the people was far superior. Other agencies would not allow returns even a few minutes late and they would charge... More

This was our first time staying at Red Mountain, and I can assure everyone reading that it will not be the last. In fact, we typically stay in an RV site for 2-3 nights, and then move on to the next... this has been our pattern for 7 years. Literally. We checked in to the campground and were received so...
