This was our 2nd stay and this time it was a little disappointing. Upon arrival, the bathroom was filthy, hair all over the floor and the shower did not look clean. For value and location it is hard to beat staying at Mountain Vista B & B. Located just off I- 70 in Silverthorne, it is within a half hour of six major ski areas--Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Copper, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin and countless great restaurants. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We were the only couple staying at the time - which was luxurious in privacy. However, (maybe because it's the slow season) there were a few problems. No heat on when we arrived. No soap anywhere! Other peoples shampoo left in the bathtub (Yuck!). That always makes me wonder if it was cleaned... more
