We've stayed at Silver Inn in Silverthorne, CO four or five times since 2005 and it's always clean, quiet, comfortable beds and very friendly, helpful people. It's centrally located, 15 minute ride to Keystone and 30 minutes to Breckenridge. They serve a good continental breakfast including muffins, bagels, fruit, coffee, juice, tea and hot cocoa.

Locally owned and convenient to the major ski areas. Friendly staff (the owners) makes sure of a comfortable stay. Clean comfortable rooms. Indoor hot tub and sauna feel great after a day on the slopes.

Stayed for 4 nights over Christmas break. Best bargain in the area, super convenient to ski areas like copper. Free simple breakfast items, and hot beverages available all day - nice touch. Owners / staff are excellent and very friendly. One caveat - the hotel has a mix of smoking and non-smoking rooms. If you are overly sensitive to the... More

My family and I stayed two nights over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We skied at Loveland on our way in, Keystone the second day, and Loveland on our way out back to Denver. It took roughly 15 minutes to get to Keystone Ski Resort from the hotel. The rooms were clean and simple and perfect for just relaxing after... More

If you are not looking for fancy stuff and would be fine with a simple but spacious and clean room, this is a place to consider. Hosts Mathew and Sophie are very nice and gently kept our bags storage for the day sfter checkout. There is also a simple breakfast included before leaving for the slopes. Recommend specially if traveling... More

Traveling across Colorado when my car engine blew up (old car couldn't take the mountainous climb). Stayed at Silver Inn in Silverthorne for the night while dealer (a block away) analyzed my car problem. Staff were very friendly, clean & comfortable room, pizza delivery available (good because I had no car) & the rate was very good. Thank you!!

I was planning on staying in Frisco, which I usually do, but there had been a disruption in electricity service there and so I decided to continue on to Silverthorne. As noted by others, the hotel has no elevator but I took a second story corner room with two large windows and was very glad I did because when I... More

In my prior life I was a road warrior. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels in 176 cities. Retired. Always look for a place that is clean. Clean is my first priority. I don't want to pay for a pool and big breakfast area. I live in Fort Collins and this is my choice when visiting Summit county. I... More

We spent two nights here while checking out jeep trails in the area. The clerk was pleasant and the room was very adequate for what we needed. The hotel is off the interstate enough to make it a quiet place with nearby shopping and eating places. Would definitely stay here again.
