Traveling across Colorado when my car engine blew up (old car couldn't take the mountainous climb). Stayed at Silver Inn in Silverthorne for the night while dealer (a block away) analyzed my car problem. Staff were very friendly, clean & comfortable room, pizza delivery available (good because I had no car) & the rate was very good. Thank you!!

I was planning on staying in Frisco, which I usually do, but there had been a disruption in electricity service there and so I decided to continue on to Silverthorne. As noted by others, the hotel has no elevator but I took a second story corner room with two large windows and was very glad I did because when I... More

In my prior life I was a road warrior. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels in 176 cities. Retired. Always look for a place that is clean. Clean is my first priority. I don't want to pay for a pool and big breakfast area. I live in Fort Collins and this is my choice when visiting Summit county. I... More

We spent two nights here while checking out jeep trails in the area. The clerk was pleasant and the room was very adequate for what we needed. The hotel is off the interstate enough to make it a quiet place with nearby shopping and eating places. Would definitely stay here again.

We were just stopping for the night enroute, and found this to be more than adequate and reasonably priced. Other reviews found fault with the desk clerk, but we had only the most pleasant interactions with him. Must have been a different guy. The Target next door could be really convenient if you forgot something. We would stay here again... More

Stayed here for two nights passing through. This is a nice inexpensive place to stay in Silverthorne. The rooms are clean, quiet and basic but a nice alternative to the chains located right on I-70. It is privately owned and a mile or so off of the interstate located next to a Target store. A little out of the way... More

We chose this hotel mostly as a result of the reviews on Tripadvisor. Maybe some of the reviews were written by the owners. This is basically a ski hotel that also rents rooms in the summer. The hotel offers no frills, very basic accommodations. The desk clerk (maybe a ski bum in winter?) was grouchy. Admittedly, the room was clean... More

My wife and I visit the Silverthorne/Lake Dillon area every summer. On prior trips, we stayed at the nearby chain hotels. This was our first stay at Silver Inn. We'll be back. Our room was very clean and modern with very comfortable beds. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast buffet. In additon to having nicer rooms than the nearby chain hotels,... More

I stopped here just on an impulse when I was in Silverthorne. What a nice surprise! The hotel clerk was great, the room was great, the location was great, and my stay was great! This will be the place I stay on my Colorado ski trip this winter!
