The photos and website don’t do justice to this beautiful ranch! It’s tucked away in the mountains and you really feel like you are in another world. We’ve talked about doing this trip for so long and finally got there in September. It truly is beautiful. The fly fishing was awesome…the trail ride was fun…the views were spectacular. The accommodations... More

We could not have been more impressed with the attention to detail at North Fork Ranch. The owners have thought of everything needed to make a stay at their ranch as pleasant and comfortable as possible. Add scenic surroundings, hearty and plentiful food, friendly and helpful staff, exceptional cleanliness and organization,....what more could one ask for?! Thank you North Fork... More

This was our first time staying at a "dude ranch." It was wonderful! This ranch is owned and operated by a real family, and they really care about their guests. We went on a horse trail ride and fished in their on-site pond. Great experiences. And the food! The food is amazing. Fresh food and well-presented. The hospitality was great... More

I have three girls, ages 13, 9 and 9. Our vacation at North Fork was amazing. It is hard to find a vacation where all three have tons of things to do. The ranch is beautiful, and the staff is super helpful. My kids loved everything they did there....horseback riding, white water rafting, shooting a bow and arrow and lots... More

I can't say much more than what has been said by so many other reviewers except to add that my son and I had a wonderful peaceful time at the North Fork Ranch. Meticulous attention paid to every possible detail. They have thought of everything. Great food, staff, horses, location and accommodations. You make friends with everyone there and it... More

My husband and I wanted to give our two grandsons a different type of vacation, so we decided to try a dude ranch experience since we are from the East Coast. I picked North Fork because it is close to Denver, we could stay less than a week, and the Trip Advisor reviews were outstanding. It did not disappoint! The... More

We were surprised that this beautiful ranch is only an hour from our house. We were able to go there on highway 285 which is much less traffic congested than I 70. The couple that own and run the ranch are very attentive and accommodating. The scenary is beautiful, the fly fishing is great, food is excellent. We rode horses... More

We drive HWY285 between Fairplay and Denver all the time and we never noticed the Northfork Ranch. I can't tell you how happy we were to find this wonderful place. Let's see - instead of sitting in traffic - we relaxed and decided to stay the night. We arrived at 4pm - caught a trout - went on a hike... More

My husband and I just returned from 3 1/2 days, 3 nights at North Fork Ranch and didn't want to leave. I randomly found North Fork Ranch on the internet and thought it read too good to be true. Actually it is better than you can even imagine. Idyllc setting on beautiful grassy grounds, with the South Platte River running... More

When it comes to fishing, there can't possibly be a better experience in Colorado(or maybe nationwide...) than North Fork Ranch. We stayed for a long weekend in the lodge and fished two days with Monroe. I'm sure all the guides are wonderful, but if you are looking to catch big fish, have a great time and learn about life, Monroe... More
