I write this review from the JP room in the Tannaghtyn B & B in Florenceville-Bristol, New Brunswick. What a fabulous place!!! Ruth and Ian Giberson are the proud owners of this fine establishment and rightly so. There is a breathtaking view of the St. John River from this location and beautiful rolling hills. All the rooms are spacious and... More

We had the one night in Tannaghtyn on our way back to Montreal from PEI. How we wished we could have stayed for a little longer. Ruth and Ian provide the most beautiful accommodation. The house is in a gorgeous location overlooking the St John river and the considerable grounds are kept immaculately. There are four rooms in the house.... More

We stayed here for several days while attending a local wedding. What a lovely home, wonderful people and great food. We've stayed in lots of B & B's and this is one of the best. Don't even think of staying in a local hotel - this is by far one of the nicest places you can stay.

We attended an event at this bed and breakfast. Although we did not stay overnight, we enjoyed a delicious meal, and got the full tour. The rooms are lovely with tripled sheeted beds. I had one of the best salads ever at this B & B. Coffee is delicious and the hosts are very attentive. Enjoyed a beautiful poached pear... More

After a long day of driving we were delighted to arrive and see such a lovely home sitting atop a hill overlooking the river valley. Ruth welcomed us and gave us a tour of her beautiful home and gardens. Our room was very comfortable and had a spacious ensuite. After a wonderful sleep, a delicious breakfast was served in their... This is a very beautiful location, over looking the Saint John river. The well kept gardens make you want to sit outside all day. The owners, Ruth and Ian, are very pleasant and helpful. It is a place worth going back to, over and over again.

We had to find a place pet free, well, at times that can be really hard. They do have cats, but my husband, other than a little congestion at first, seemed to be fine sharing the house with these lovely fluffy mops. Our only challenge was finding the location. I had googled it so was confused when we drove down... More

(We stayed here in June 2011; the "when did you travel" feature does not go back that far, but still requires you to click on one of the listed months, so ignore the date of travel stated after the review) It's been almost 3 years since we stayed here, but from what I can remember, the room, house and property... I stayed with my family for 1 night at this beautiful B&B.The B&B has a view on the St.John. The house and the garden are perfectly kept. Our room was large, very nice and quiet. Hosts were very friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Reasonably priced.

When you see this house, you will be wowed. It is set high above the river, the garden is gorgeous, rooms are exceptionally beautiful, well furnished and clean. Breakfast is wonderfully prepared and presented by the owner. The only issue for us was the cats because my husband has allergies and asthma. If you like cats, they are lovely long... More
