We traveled from Lubbock,Tx , when we got to the motel we were greeted with a friendly smile, our room was exactly what we asked for( handicap), clean and nice for the price. My husband and I are use to staying at the Marriott's, so I was worried about staying at the San Luis Inn. The room was super clean... More

We came through San Luis, CO especially to walk up the hill where the outdoor bronze stations of the cross are, ending at the little church that you can see from the hwy sitting at the top of the hill. We found the one and only motel and it was a no frills place, with a clean and comfortable room.... More

Many people will be trying to figure out whether they should camp or stay in a motel when they go to climb Culebra peak near the town of San Luis. I strongly recommend the San Luis Inn Motel as your more practical base camp. While not a 5 star hotel (not what anyone should expect for $70 a room), the... More

Time to step up your game, Pidillas of San Luis, CO. and the San Luis Inn Motel. You were so kind on the phone when I made my reservation and so interesting when we checked in but if you want your motel kept on the recommended list for Trip Advisor, you need to step it up. Room was OK except... More

I didn't want to sleep in a tent before climbing Culebra Peak because there can be a lot tents and people coming in at all hours, so I got a room at the San Luis Inn in San Luis, CO. For $69, I got a big, king-sized bed, free Internet and a clean room. The room was large, but the... More

We were traveling through a remote part of Colorado. Choices for lodging were slim, we decided to stay here because there was a hot tub and we needed a soak. The price was surprisingly inexpensive. The lobby looked like my aunt's living room in the 80's, complete with vintage floral couch and a live plant. The desk clerk was super... More

We loved the San Luis Inn. The owners and employess have great Pride in their Inn and you can see it in the common areas and rooms. The Inn will be are Home away from home everytime we go to San Luis. The rooms are clean and the sheets and comforter are all new and the mattress was new and... More

Every time I am in San Luis for business I choose to stay at the San Luis Motel. Mr. Augustin Padilla, the proprietor, is a decorated veteran of the Korean War (I leaned this from other sources; he doesn't brag about it). The hotel is close to local attractions (stations of the cross, sanctuary, museum, cemetery etc.). I have stayed... More

This was my second stay at The San Luis Inn Motel while visiting friends and to plan a visit to Mother Mary's Garden which is a mile away. This past summer, I stayed while attending a nearby retreat during a heat wave when the weather was 104 outside. As I had mentioned previously, the rooms were immaculate and the AC... More

We stayed at the San Luis Inn for one night in December while traveling to Taos, NM. It was below zero degrees outside, but the room was warm and the beds were great. The proprietor, Augustine Padea, was delightful when I spoke to him on the phone to make reservations and when we met him. There are a couple of... More
