Owner and wife do not love this business or even like it. In conversation, he referred to me as lady, although he spoke my name at the beginning of the conversation. He had my ear about how much taxes went up, etc. No money has been invested in this motel in a long time. Rug in room is rippled, fixtures... More

This place is fine for the price. The sign says it all "Affordable accommodation". The owners have been here 18 years and will probably move on soon. Maintenance therefore seems to be strictly on a needs basis. But the carpet does not smell, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the property layout means most rooms are well... More

We stayed in this hotel recently and it was extremely unclean.Very outdated the room only had it a double size bed and a single size bed,It had no alarm clocks, no frigerator no microwave. It said that offered wifi but it had no indication of what the wifi password was...And I wasn't about to ask the manager who barely speaks... More

Highly overpriced for amenities because all of them were broken. In-room fridge will not turn on, ice machine has no ice, advertised jacuzzi was broken, and wi-fi connection failed because there wasn't any available. 'Snack pop and ice room' doesn't have snacks nor pop. However, front desk gentleman was nice.

This place for 85$ for two people..sucked! The old blue carpet that is out dated and had wrinkles/ dirty! I don't even want to think about the blankets! Like what is on them! Shower is good for a midget, I'm 5'6 and couldn't get my head under it. Bathroom Is dirty. The heat is a joke! No accessible outlets for... More

This mom-and-pop, motel-style establishment would be a reasonable value at 60 dollars a night, but the owners have figured out that they can charge 120 dollars in trendy Salinas on weekend nights. Room quality, amenities were good for an independent motel.

I stayed here last year and am back again (June, 2013)! It is a great choice for a value-minded traveler. My room is very clean, AC works, TV has premium channels, the internet is fast. All of my needs are met. The shower is roomy, works great, towels are chubby. Plus I parked my car with a buncha kayaks on... More

The only way to describe our stay was HORIBLE!! Rooms are smelly, shower heads are so short even I had to duck, and I am 5'2. Cable my butt! Poor reception, older than dirt TVs. No breakfast like it advertises, no hot tub like advertised either. Oh they have one, but it is "always" being serviced. DO NOT STAY HERE!!... More

My family and I were coming to salida for a graduation. We got a great deal at this place as well as a great room. It was very clean, everything inside was new and nice. The bathroom was clean and new as well. It was an awesome place to stay while we were in town. Robert the owner has done... More
