“Golden stay at Silver Ridge Lodge”

Highly recommended. Spotlessly clean, well maintained and charmingly decorated. Our bathroom had a window - can't get that at a cookie-cutter corporate national chain - and the tile and tub were the original 1960s era seafoam green. Delightful. None of that funky-musty-flowery hotel smell. Comfy firm beds, good pillows and bedding. Midnight coyote serenade at no extra charge. More

Wow the room was clean, one of the most maintained hotels I've stayed at in this area. Easy access to the downtown area. Truly one of the great management teams around !!! LOVE THIS PLACE More

“Great mountain view value!”

The motel room was pristine and recently renovated. The room had all modern conveniences - coffee pot, refrigerator and microwave. The beds were comfortable and the enire place was spic and span. There is a mountain view from the back and the room rate was very reasonable. More

First time staying in the area, and we lucked out by finding a place that was not only cheap but also clean, friendly management, quiet, and actually a good selection at breakfast. We will stay here again when we go skiing at Monarch Mountain next time. More

I booked a room on line with my fingers crossed. The place was excellent--the room was spotless--I have no idea how they do it. “Predictably clean and comfortable”

We've stayed here probably 10 times and have referred and brought friends with us. Owners may not ever recognize us, but the super clean rooms make up for it. Breakfast is ok, we prefer Cafe Dawn, but I will never stay, nor refer anyone to any motel/hotel in Salida other than the Silver Ridge. More

As a couple, we stay here about twice a year as a home base for mountain biking in Salida. You cannot beat the value. $52 gets you a predictably clean room with cable, fridge, microwave, ability to shower off the ride (back-to-back-hot-water-wash off the dirt) sauna usage and breakfast experience!! “A charming mom & pop motel right out of the 50s”

We were attracted to this motel as it has a great mid-century Western architecture and is locally owned. We found our stay to be pleasant, but nothing special, but a decent value nonetheless.
