This is a very reasonable hotel in Salida with frig, microwave and coffee pot. Outside hot tub fun for after a long day at the mountains. Friendly staff. Our go to place when staying in Salida in the winter while boarding at Monarch and in the summer when motorcycling.

We were driving thru Salida labor day weekend and decided to stop last minute for the night. The owners were more than nice helping us get settled in for the night. It was late and we were not prepared with toiletries however they had all we needed at the front desk. We are planning on staying here everytime we go... More

Needed a cheaper place to stay and this place was a pleasant surprise. Very clean, simple, nice firm king bed, mini fridge, microwave and a relaxing hot tub. Also a. I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

We picked the motel based on the positive reviews here. We were pulling a trailer and this sounded like the perfect spot. We did have room to park our trailer, but the rooms were dated and there was no breakfast. Our room was $99 per night for 2 queen beds, and while that is not a bad price it seems... More

This place is good for the budget minded dirtbiker! It is close to several eating places and less then two miles from the rainbow trail. They were great with service they have an outdoor hot tub for the weary rider. I saw several bikers there Street and dirt and several mountain bikers. If you are going to ride the trails... More

We booked here because we needed a large parking lot to accommdate our truck and 2 car trailer. We usually stay at a nearby large chain hotel but it was booked. I was a little skeptical when we pulled in because it looked very old fashioned and I was worried that the rooms might be run down. The price was... More

I admit it, I am a fan of "motor court" hotels - especially if they are clean and well maintained. Something drew me into the Aspen Leaf Lodge last weekend, even though I had a reservation at national brand X, I took a room here, canceled my other reservation and saved $70 for my one night stay. True, there was... More

I was recently in Salida with my husband and got a last minute room at the Aspen Leaf Lodge. It is modest, but the exterior is well kept. I passed their laundry room and was impressed with the order and cleanliness of it. The room we had had two queen sized beds, a refrigerator and a microwave all very clean... More

When our reservation at another small Motel was given away we ended up at Aspen Leaf Lodge because they were open and pet friendly. Yes it is out dated, but it was completely clean, quiet, friendly owners and cheaper than expected at about $60/ night for a 2 queen bed room. They also had a hot tub which we didn't... More

I have stayed at the Aspen Leaf six or seven times, so I must like it. The rooms are nicer than the modest exterior would suggest--clean and well furnished. The cost--generally between $60 and $80--is very reasonable. And the couple who own the property are always friendly and helpful
