Cam and Dick are the greatest of hosts in their B&B in Salida, CO. The house and the grounds are great. Everything was clean and every need taken care of. Their close proximity to Salida and Buena Vista make it a great location. Breakfast was AWESOME !!!!!

Thanks for staying with us even tho you were so close to home. Enjoyed breakfast on the deck with you! By the way, you were asking about that purple shrub - I bought it under the name, 'smoke bush'. I'm sure it has a more formal title, but I don't know what it is. Hope you're getting showers to green... More

My 2 friends and I just left San Isabel B&B this morning. We had a great 3 nights there. Dick and Cam are friendly, pleasant, great hosts. My dog, Avalanche, loved running around the grounds. Everything was very clean, comfortable and welcoming. The grounds are beautiful and the views incredible. It is far enough away from town to be quiet... More

The three of you so enjoyed eachother's company, which makes it fun for us!! Lucy couldn't have been happier with Avalanche's company. Please give her a treat for her great company. (The dogs always get top billing!) Hope your trip home and with your husbands went well. Looking forward to your next reunion . . . More

This is our second time staying here and we love it. This time we had been hiking the Colorado Trail and had decided to take a night off. We were unable to find anything in Mt Princeton, but Dick drove 20 minutes to pick us up after we ate dinner. They didn't mind us being a bit dirty and stinky... More

It was great to see that you're still trekking along the Rockies!! We loved that Princeton was full and we were able to enjoy your company again. We tried not to be upwind of you - you smelled great!! Thanks for your kind words. We hope to see you again. More

San Isabel is, by far, my favorite B&B. Dick & Cam offer all the luxuries of a traditional B&B in an environment that makes me feel as comfortable as my own home. Every time I walk through the door, I feel a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. I just returned from my 3rd visit to San Isabel - I... More

Seeing you again was like family coming home! We so enjoy watching you chow down (as usual) at breakfast!! Hope the wedding went off well and your return trip was good. You two truly take advantage of the west - climbing (!), hiking and getting out for adventures. Enjoyed catching up with your family news, please give them out best.... More

Dick and Cam are superbly hospitable. After making my online reservation, noting we were two traveling with a dog and two horses, I called to verify we could be accommodated. Dick provided our horse with his llamas' large panel fenced area which includes a shelter. His two llamas got to spend the night out grazing the grass. Dick volunteered some... More

It was so much fun meeting the 'boys' and watching them enjoy time out of the trailer. You're fortunate to have summers off - believe me, I know how regenerating they are. Hope your time in Steamboat is better than you expected and your trek home is safe and easy. More

San Isabel is a wonderful place to stay! It is unlike any other place I have ever stayed at, and I have to say that this is my favorite so far. It's a super cozy home away from home. We were greeted at the door by a sweet yellow lab, and then greeted by the owners and given cookies and... More

San Isabel looked great on the website and better from the reviews but neither really did this place justice. This was the best place we stayed on our trip. It was by far the nicest and the best bargain. The owners were friendly, as well as their pets. Dick and Cam were very helpful in giving ideas for activities in... More

Thanks for the great words!! Even though your stay with us was brief, we're glad you enjoyed the valley, mountains and views. We trust your drive home to the 'flatlands' was uneventful. Hope to see you again when you're able to see more. More

This is a charming bed and breakfast. The main house sits so that the mountains loom all across the horizon. The views are spectacular. The bedroom are good, queen size and decorated in a semi-western fashion. THere is lots of woodwork and great views from inside the house. Breakfast was amazing and hosts were gracious.

My boyfriend and I stayed over Memorial Day weekend at the San Isabel. We had such a wonderful time. We sat in the hot tub and watched the sun set. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Dick and Cam are wonderful hosts, and we look forward to going back to stay at the San Isabel again!

So glad you enjoyed your time here! It was great fun talking with you. The night sky is pretty amazing from the hot tub. Hope you can return to the valley again this summer - when everything green is out, the area is spectacular. Maybe you can get some time to get onto the river, too. Looks like the weather... More
