What a wonderful weekend! Great rooms, Chamber of Commerce views, and gourmet meals! Gina is an awesome hostess and as a bonus, is quite the Barista! We have stayed at a number of B&B's and have never had a coffee bar like this. Can't wait to return and visit my new friend, Mara, the youngest of the goats.

And what a comfortable bed (those sheets, wow!), then there was the delicious made-to-order breakfast, the made-to-order gourmet coffees & lattes - WOW! This was a very relaxing B&B, a really great place to get away! Oh & it's not right in the city so sitting out on their back deck & taking in those stars at night was amazing!... More

A last minute trip to the southwest part of Colorado brought us for one night to the MGL. We stayed in the Mt. Princeton Room which offers great north and west views of the Collegiate Peaks. LOVED the goats and Sydney the Lodge dog. Hospitality awesome! Breakfast was tasty and hearty. The one negative of this property is that it... More

Very dog friendly, very gracious and accommodating. The hosts are wonderful and very helpful in our quest to bird in the surrounding area. Rooster wake up call got us out of bed for early birding. Residents were humming birds, blue birds and hawks.

Thank you for taking the time to to write such a nice review. It was truly wonderful having you both here and that you shared your birding expertise was just the icing on the cake! It seems that there is always interesting bird-watching all year around. I will take your advice about adding extra hummingbird feeders on each side of... More

My husband and I and our 6 mo. old Golden-Doodle pup, Lucy found spur of the moment lodging when we were needed for a family emergency in nearby Nathrop. It was truly a godsend as we were not in a position to care for our own needs, and leaving Lucy at home was out of the question. The staff and... More

Nice place to stay! On the downside, transparant curtains in the Oberhasli Suite, so absolutely no privacy and an early wake up call due to the morningsun. Despite advertisement on the website, NO daily maidservice. Not enough tables and chairs inside (though enough space to place some more), so we had breakfast outside, I was offered a blanket, but still,... More

I took my 86-year-old mother and 1-year-old border collie to stay at Mountain Goat Lodge. Mom had her doubts about the cleanliness of such a dog-friendly place, but her fears were immediately eased. We stayed in the Oberhasli suite for easy dog-walking access and first-floor level comfort for Mom. Room was clean and lovely. Tons of room for Mom, the... More

thank you for sharing your experience on trip advisor. We do make an effort to welcome everyone and their pets - even if we need to clean twice as hard to do so! We strive to make everyone comfortable in the beds, and realize the pull out sofa is not without its limitations. We are looking into upgrading that mattress... More

I found the Mountain Goat Lodge on a pet-friendly website while planning a recent Colorado stay-cation. My husband and I were traveling with our dog looking for places to stay close to nice Colorado mountain towns with beautiful views and good access to hikes and outdoor activities. We stayed in the Oberhasli suite for two nights which was perfect as... More

My wife and I had the privilege of spending a night at The Mountain Goat Lodge with our pup. The owner was welcoming and helpful on things to do in the area and gave us a great dinner recomendation. The breakfast was delicious and the owner (a past barista) made us excellent lattes. We were unfortunately just passing through so... More

We spent one night in the Princeton room. Great room for two people, comfy bed, and spectacular view and balcony. The breakfast and coffee were great, and we were happy that we were able to meet the goats, and participate in the milking. If we had more time, we would have stayed longer!!

Wow~! Geez! You are so so kind and thank you for this review. The trailers, as you know, are brand new and guests like you all made the summer trailer "experience" a roaring success! They are closed now for the winter but we are looking forward to a full summer next year with many more happy campers. We will always... More
