Nice place to stay! On the downside, transparant curtains in the Oberhasli Suite, so absolutely no privacy and an early wake up call due to the morningsun. Despite advertisement on the website, NO daily maidservice. Not enough tables and chairs inside (though enough space to place some more), so we had breakfast outside, I was offered a blanket, but still,... More

I took my 86-year-old mother and 1-year-old border collie to stay at Mountain Goat Lodge. Mom had her doubts about the cleanliness of such a dog-friendly place, but her fears were immediately eased. We stayed in the Oberhasli suite for easy dog-walking access and first-floor level comfort for Mom. Room was clean and lovely. Tons of room for Mom, the... More

I found the Mountain Goat Lodge on a pet-friendly website while planning a recent Colorado stay-cation. My husband and I were traveling with our dog looking for places to stay close to nice Colorado mountain towns with beautiful views and good access to hikes and outdoor activities. We stayed in the Oberhasli suite for two nights which was perfect as... More

My wife and I had the privilege of spending a night at The Mountain Goat Lodge with our pup. The owner was welcoming and helpful on things to do in the area and gave us a great dinner recomendation. The breakfast was delicious and the owner (a past barista) made us excellent lattes. We were unfortunately just passing through so... More

We spent one night in the Princeton room. Great room for two people, comfy bed, and spectacular view and balcony. The breakfast and coffee were great, and we were happy that we were able to meet the goats, and participate in the milking. If we had more time, we would have stayed longer!!

This was my first stay at Mountain Goat Lodge and we had a stellar time. We opted to stay in the Retro Campers and brought our golden retriever along. We also had access to all the B&B amenities: the hot tub was relaxing, engaging with the goats, llama, and chickens was fun, breakfast with the other guests was pleasant, visiting... More

Thank you so much for such a detailed review. We really enjoyed meeting you guys! So glad everything worked in the trailers - being so new, we are still working out the minor details. We welcome you BAAAAACK anytime, and remember we are open year-around. It is fun to visit in the fall when it is peaceful and cool and... More

Gina and D'Arcy are great hosts. Very knowledgeable about the area and vey helpful in ensuring we knew all the features of our camper. The food, scenery, serenity, breakfast (make sure you bring an appetite, the breakfasts are really delicious and filling), and lodging met all our expectations. Once again, thank you Gina and D'Arcy for a wonderful stay.

This was our second stay at Mountain Goat Lodge. This time, we were traveling with our grown daughter. We stayed in the Oberhasli Suite, which was clean and more than roomy for the three of us. There was an awesome bonfire with s'mores that evening. In the morning, a full breakfast that included yogurt and cheese made fresh from the... More

The bed and breakfast seemed too good to be true, the stay exceeded our expectations. It was my wife and I first time traveling with our two month old and two large dogs. The rooms were so clean it seemed like we were the first ones to have pets in the room. The off leash area is the size of... More

Thank you for such a great review - we have had some roosters comments before...funny how you don't even notice it when you live here! Part of the ambiance I guess! We are really trying to appeal to guests that are travelling with their pets - so you really hit the nail on the head - we have a big... More

I spent two nights in one of the trailers and had a marvelous, peaceful, restorative retreat. It was quiet and beautiful setting. The goats were just plain fun to hang out with and watch. The main lodge was well kept, inviting and comfortable. The breakfasts were quite good, with variety and filling. There is a lot to keep you busy... More

Glad you enjoyed your peaceful stay in the retro trailer park area. Being new, we are just having a lot of fun with them. They will only be offered in the summer months, so do come back and try the lodge rooms - for a bit more luxury! We are also happy to share the goats with all of our... More
