Gina and D'Arcy were fabulous hosts, chefs and baristas! The room was beautiful and well-appointed with a great deck and beautiful views. We started our morning with epic handcrafted lattes, and an hour or so on the land hanging out with the goats, including a few 3-month old kids! We will absolutely be back. The food, espresso, beds, conversation and... More

With views to match, this is a destination B&B. Especially if you love dogs and goats, fresh homegrown food, a hot soak under the stars at night and personable company. I love this place and felt immediate friendship with the wonderful woman who owns it and runs as a loving home for her guests and animals!

I stayed at the Mountain Goat Lodge for 3 nights while taking an intensive water rescue class. Gina and Darcy are excellent hosts and the accommodations are very nice. I had to be at my class very early in the morning and they would get up and make me breakfast each morning. The breakfast is excellent. It's very dog friendly.... More

My husband and I, along with our two boys (ages 10 and 14) really enjoyed our stay here. The mountains and the goats and walking around were beautiful. The hot tub was a perfect way to end the day. It was close to Salida and good restaurants and it was easy to find. The breakfast was wonderful too.

Wonderful B & B outside of Salida, CO. Awesome views, fantastic hot tub, and super comfy rooms. Dog Friendly as well! They provided a dog bed, treats, and a water bowl as well as a cover so he could stay up on the bed with us!

For Spring break, we rented a Chrysler Town and Country van (30 mpg), loaded up the dogs and the kid, and headed to the mountains. The Drury is "super" pet friendly if you were not already aware. We headed out on our second day of travel heading to the Mountain Goat Lodge in Salida, Colorado. Pictures of the lodge are... More

Gina and D'Arcy are the most wonderful of host and have created a family down home feeling that stays with you long after you leave. It is the place you can't wait to go back to stay. The breakfast is absolutely delicious..from home made cinnamon rolls to home made yogurt. The decor is amazing, as well as the view of... More

A must stay if you are staying in the Salida area for an overnight stay. We stayed two nights. The breakfast was outstanding and the homemade yogurt was to die for. Very pleasant atmosphere and the B&B is very convenient to the town and to the ski area at Monarch. Make sure you check to goats out. The host, Gina,... More

The Mountain Goat Lodge was exactly what we needed! Relaxing, accommodating, and an over-all amazingly friendly and welcoming place to stay. The home-cooked meals and custom made coffee drinks were incredible, the rooms were clean and quiet, and the views were outstanding. I will DEFINITELY be back here, and would/will recommend it in a heart beat to anyone! Thank you... More

What a wonderful B&B! Gina makes the best breakfasts around! We absolutely enjoyed our stay, especially the Comphy sheets and playing with the Goats. We were able to make it to Monarch Mountain within 20 mins from the Mountain Goat Lodge, and enjoyed fresh pow-pow the first day! The off-leash dog area was a bonus, as our dog Griswold likes...
