We had two king-bed rooms (#241 & 244) -- one for my husband and myself, one for our adult son. They were just great. Nice decor and mod features -- from granite tub surround and 6'+ granite counter to flat screen TV. TV worked just fine, had plenty of channels, sleep timer, etc. Comfortable bed, chair & ottoman, desk, flawless... more

Checked into this "100% smoke-free" motel which was fairly high priced since the area has much traffic due to oil and gas exploration. The first thing I noticed was the common areas outside the motel were trashed: garbage, liquor bottles tossed around. The next day, after returning from work, I picked up a flier that was slipped under the door... more

I returned from a trip through Colorado early this month. I spent one night in LaQuinta in Rifle. My room was in the newer building . The look and feal of the rooms are quite modern and clean. The beds covers were clean and luxurious. The bathroom is large with modern shower head with plenty of pressure The staff was... more

This hotel is firing on all cylinders. The rooms are beautifully appointed and maintained. The bed provided a perfect nights sleep with a firm comfortable mattress and crisp linens. The staff was kind, attentive and helpful, right down to a housekeeper cheerfully holding the door for us when we were lugging in our belongings. The wifi worked flawlessly. Breakfast was... more

We (my husband and I) just returned from a trip which included two nights at the LaQuinta in Rifle. We had a room in the newer building . The colors and art are very modern. It's interesting as they are on the Masculine side in color and choice. Very rich tones. This is very appropriate, as Rifle is an energy... more

We stayed here for a few days and were very impressed. The hotel still looks brand new inside and out. We stayed in the older side but it was still nice. We ended up in a handicap room and the only downfall was that it only had a shower (make sure you lower the shower curtain some and make sure... more

We stayed one night on our way to Moab. We had a room in the new addition and it was lovely and very clean. The free breakfast was great, too. We loved making our own waffles. Everyone was very nice. Try to get a room in the new part. more

This is a newer property with nice amenities. The cost was twice that of some of the other local hotels, but the comparison between them and the others is not even close. If you insist on shopping, go ahead and waste your time. The extra $$ was worth it here! We did not plan on staying in Rifle, CO (... more

Very pleasantly surprised by this property. We had never stayed at a La Quinta Inn before and frankly, weren't expecting much. But it's very new and very clean. The room we had (320) was large with a comfy bed. The bathroom was fabulous for a chain hotel (granite countertop that was at least 4 feet long--lots of room for your... more

We have driven by this hotel several times and thought it would be a good place to stop on a recent trip across Colorado. I don't know if there is anything to do in Rifle - although since there is a new WalMart in town, something must be happening. The hotel is very obviously scratched out in an area that... more
