This is an older property with some of the expected pitfalls. None-the-less, rooms are being renovated while maintaining safe clean rooms in the whole establishment. The strength here is the friendliness, competence, and dedication of the entire staff. The quality of the breakfast was very nice, more than I expected.

It is your average hotel. Stayed for one night this year during the CO state fair. The hot breakfast bar was a nice surprise. The door that led to the external exit had a broken/sticky lock and didn't close very well. The pool/ hot tub area is exactly as pictured. Great location! Kmart across the street and a lot of... Clean, functional. TV got plenty of channels, beds were fine. I truly enjoyed the breakfast and they appear to have modified their breakfast policy to allow guests to take food to their rooms if that's important to you. The environmentalist in me was bothered by the styrofoam plates. The staff was courteous, the hotel itself is right next to the... More

Hotel was great although the door to the room stuck so you had to slam it when leaving and push hard when entering. Hotel was accommodating, and clean and area wasnt bad. Staff were polite and pleasant. Check in and out was easy and fast.

After nearly 30 hours of labor, my wife still hadnt given birth to our daughter. Durring the night I developed a stomach bug and was very ill. My wife called and was able to get me a room at 6am after explaining our situation. I slept a few hours and headed back to the hospital. Later that night... Baby born!... More

I have business in Pueblo and have stayed at the Clarion 5 or 6 times in the last 2 years. The rooms, particularly the bathrooms, could use updating. Paint, carpets, and new drapes would make a difference in the rooms, however, I have always found my room, however dated, to be clean. Each room has 3 pieces of art hanging,... More

We stayed in the Pueblo area at a few hotels and while the Clarion had some good offerings, it wasn't our favorite. PROS: big pool area, decent hot tub, good variety offered at breakfast, good sized room, friendly housekeepers. CONS: parking lot is a little scary, one morning the girl was putting away an already low supply of food about... More

Arrived after a 13 hour day on a motorcycle (in the rain). Rooms were bad, security was worse. Almost a knifing in the parking lot between a homeless guy and the hotel maintenance person (over a Dallas Cowboys jacket). Police called twice before we settled in. Approached by people in the hotel lobby to buy "stuff" off the street. Rooms... More

VERY disappointed!!!! After traveling for 14 hours straight you are ready to shower and rest, our non-smoking suite was far from that. It smelled like an ash tray was not a suite by any means, the toilet did not flush, carpet visibly stained and rotten at the entrances, wall paper coming off the wall, lamp shades looked like they had...
