the setting is awesome. The food was divine. The yoga teachers and various talks were phenomenonal and suited all levels. The meditation was perfect. I would ask for a seperate cabin next time as the joined cabins are not soundproof from your neighbour. That said you don't spend much time in your cabin. The common areas are divine and the... If you could use a getaway from this crazy, fast-paced world we live in (and who couldn't), find your way out to this lovely spot about 1 hour from Sydney. There is wonderful organic food lovingly prepared, a variety of activities like yoga, meditation etc but no pressure, just do the ones you want. Staff are all exceptional and everyone... More

I have just experienced a Mindfulness Course at Billabong and found the combination of science and thousands-of-years-old yoga and meditation practice so appropriate for where I am at now. The location, eco-friendly buildings and practices and the expert and friendly staff were wonderful. Massage with Kat was a highlight! Lounging on the beautiful deck and talking to like minded people... More

Have to admit I was a little hesitant initially being a guy going to a mindfulness and yoga retreat. My wife had been before and swore I would enjoy it. The place is just beautiful and a little slice of produce just out if the city. Cabins are basic but have a stunning view to the billabong and trees. Courses... More

A Billabong Re[treat] is the best treat ever! We loved everything about it. But especially the staff: they go out of their way to make sure that every aspect of your stay is a special treat for you. The whole place teems with generosity of spirit and I think we were high on oxytocin for the whole two days we... More

My sister and I chose Billabong Retreat for some long overdue time together to catch up, relax and recharge. I flew in from Brisbane and we caught the train west from Redfern to Vineyard Station, where we were collected by a rattly maxi taxi arranged by the resort. Ten minutes later we arrived ready to begin our retreat. Our cabin... More

On my mission to experience as many retreat /spa's as possible, this one is A Gem in the Rooftops! My only sadness , two days was not enough!! Unpretentious with like minded people was a delight. A pre birthday treat , a delux cabin with outside bath felt a little naughty but divine with a cuppa and a book listening... More

This place is great, I had already been once about a year and a half ago and am so happy I went again. I'll probably go once a year. The location and accommodation are great and so are all the staff and especially the food is amazing. Its just a beautiful place and very relaxing.

only complaint is I didn't staying enough. The other guests were also friendly non pretentious and normal! The food was soooo delicious all vegetarian which I am definitely not used to but loved it! I got the best massage I have ever had by Anita by the billabong and relaxing facial by Kat. The yoga was great! I am uncoordinated... More

Arriving on a sweltering NSW day, my first port of call was the stunning magnesium plunge pool. Nestled in amongst stunning bush, the Billabong Retreat was like an oasis - it felt like I was a million miles away from the bustle of city life. The food was outstanding, plenty of raw salads and delicious treats and the yoga and... More
