I booked the Billabong as my partner is big into yoga and mindfulness. Based on the reviews I decided to book in here. I have never done yoga or meditation before. We booked the Colo River retreat. Upon arrival the staff are really friendly and helpful. Having read the reviews I understood the cabins to be pretty basic. We booked... More

Had no idea what to expect from billabong - we were looking for an escape from the stress & strain of everyday life, we found that & more at Billabong. My cousin is heavily pregnant & found the Harmony Rooms perfect as they are a minute walk from the dining room, meditation room etc she got a glorious massage from... More

This was exactly what I needed! Nutritious food, beautiful and peaceful surrounds, luxurious massage and facial and most of all kind and helpful staff. This included the kitchen staff, the nutritionist, the massage therapists and the yogi that introduced me to mindfulness meditation and yoga. I have never attended a yoga class before whereas others in the class had done... More

This was my first visit to Billabong retreat attending a "Mindfulness Retreat " in early June and definitely will not be my last. Amazing location with abundance of wildlife and secluded enough to create a serene ambience. I stayed in the Treehouse Pavillion; a short walk away from the main buildings and it was very very comfortable. The chef, Mignon,... More

My third visit to this magical haven. This time I took part in the mindfulness retreat. We learnt the theory and science as well as a range of techniques for practicing mindfulness. I recently went on the Mindfulness Retreat at Billabong. I had no idea what I was in for, went by myself and it was probably the best thing I've ever done. I learnt so much about myself and how to deal with the everyday stress and anxieties of life, and really learnt ways to cultivate self-love, and inner peace through... More

I booked this retreat as a gift for my wife in April, not really knowing to much what it was all about. When we arrived I was the only male in the group and was surprised (and possibly more scared!) about our yoga/meditation itinerary for the next couple of days. Having a very stressful job and having attempted to mediated... More

Just got home from a few days away with a friend on the mindfulness course at Billabong. Really enjoyed the talks, the food was great and the retreat is lovely, no frills but has everything you need and is very cosy. The staff were friendly and made you feel welcome and the surroundings are magical. I would have liked a... More
