We stayed here while biking the Colorado Trail from Denver to Durango. Theresa, the owner, recommended a great Italian restaurant, let us wash our bikes with her outside hose, and helped us arrange a shuttle up to our next trailhead on Marshall Pass. The room was clean and just as described in her ads. Her garden sitting area is absolutely... More

The Poncha Lodge was a lovely, charming place to stay just outside of Salida, CO. This motel was so very clean, and the gardens in the court yard, along with the fountain and fire pit and grill, made us want to have a garden party! I have had to go to Salida for the past 15 years, and finally, I... More

We live in Colorado and wanted a quick get away. The entire valley around Ponch Springs has many fun things to do! This was our first stay at Poncha Lodge, but it won't be our last! Clean, comfortable and Theresa went above and beyond to accommodate us! Lovely courtyard, great Italian restaurant nearby. Many repeat guests! Thank you for a... More

We were welcomed by a gracious host and found a well scrubbed room with mix and match furniture knotty pine walls and ceiling in a small room. The motel is right on the highway with some traffic. Our room was on the highway there were some rooms off the highway around a charming courtyard. We assume less traffic noise with... More

We were biking the Colorado Trail, but staying at hotels each night. The Poncha Lodge was the perfect location to stay the night. The owner, was fantastic. She recommended Grimo's Italian restaurant, which was perfect and close. She even gave us a lift to the trail head the next morning (You Rock!). The room was great. The service was great.... More

On a recent trip to Salida, CO we came across the Poncha Lodge and will not forget our stay anytime soon!! We were treated to beautiful views and a serene setting that other local establishments could not provide for the very reasonable price for 4 adults.. The backyard courtyard with its floral arrangements, BBQ, fire pit, hot tub allowed us... More

Rooms are updated and very clean. There is a beautiful patio/sitting area to relax in if you just want to chill. A great place to... More

This was an amazing place to stay and incredibly clean. Teresa was exceptionally helpful in finding activities in the area for our two grandsons. The Court Yard was gorgeous and perfectly kept. Atmosphere was serine, just like Home Sweet Home. They have a grill for your use and a hot tub that is enclosed. I encourage you to stay here... More
