Stayed for a night on a motorcycle tour of Colorado. Room was clean and comfortable. Beds were a pleasure to sleep in. Shower was fantastic. Glad that we picked the Angler inn, would stay here again for sure.

My husband and I stayed at The Angler Inn for two nights on part of a two-week Colorado vacation. We chose The Angler Inn based on it's reviews on Trip Advisor, it's proximity to Telluride, and it's reasonable price. Of all the places we stayed on the trip, the Angler Inn was by far our favorite. We stayed in a... More

On a ski road trip, the Angler Inn offered comfortable clean rooms which you would expect. What was an extra bonus was the restaurant / bar at the front. It was an oasis between some place and the next. We went skiing the following day at Telluride, which was also a great little town and good size ski hill. Enjoyed... More

We selected this inn because of its proximity to Telluride. We wanted the quiet and the price was more reasonable than in town. We requested and received a ground floor room when we made our reservations. Although understaffed they seemed willing to help in anything we requested. The desk clerk told me the ice bucket was in the closet and... More

We came across this hotel on tripadvisor, we planned on spending the day at Telluride knowing we don't care for large groups and hotels we wanted something smaller! We were very pleased with the hotel and resturant. Our bed squeaked with any movement...hence the lower rating. Would stay there again if we are ever in the area!

We stayed one night on the way south to Mesa Verde . Very pleasant room. No coffee machine and the complimentary coffee station is OOA. The lady at reception made us one though so that was nice! There is a bit of traffic noise as we are right on Hwy 145 so we needed to have the windows closed. Breakfast... More

Aside from the price (relative to Telluride), the real appeal of The Angler Inn is the setting and the architecture. Classic rustic Colorado charm, in and out; though the rooms are a bit spartan, but in a classic sporty way. Unfortunately the appeal is thwarted by several issues, some more easy to resolve than others. The location is not as... More

We chose the Angler Inn because it was more reasonably priced than many of the hotels in Telluride, and at 16 miles away that's not a bad drive. Once we arrived at the Inn, we were so happy that we chose it. It is a romantic and quaint hotel that has all of the quaintness of a nice bed and... More

A few days before the 4th of July, my son and I had the pleasure of staying at The Angler Inn in Placerville, CO. Our decision to stay at this hotel was based on convenience in location, rather than finding a romantic inn. I mean really, I was traveling with my 12 year old son, but I couldn't help but... More

What an awesome place. Clean, comfortable, quiet, non smoking, and a very accommodating staff, nothing but praise for this inn. The restaurant and staff are great as well. Fabulous menu, only praise for the restaurant as well. Consider yourself lucky if you get to stay here
