My wife and I stayed at the Angler Inn for two nights and it was absolutely beautiful. It reminded us of Sedona, AZ because of the gorgeous red rocks. The included breakfast was tasty and filling, but it was the lunches and dinners they offered that were something special indeed. The menu changed depending on the fresh ingredients that were... Stumbled upon this little jem while passing through Telluride on our way through Colorado. We were pleasantly surprised at the accomodations. After searching in Telluride for an overnight stay in the crowded downtown area, I became nervous about finding anywhere to stay. We found The Angler Inn on the way out of town and so glad we did. Very peaceful,... More

This hotel and bar/restaurant is an excellent choice for those wanting to find somewhere a little cheaper than the increasingly expensive resort of Telluride. About 12 miles down the mountain, the Angler Inn is an excellent base from which to ski Telluride, Silverton and even Durango in Winter. The staff at this hotel are some of the most friendly I... Stayed at the Inn for a skiing trip and was very impressed. The rooms were nice clean and updated. We are a family of four and had plenty if room. The staff was very good and took care if us. The resturant was excellent and well priced. It was 15 minutes from Telluride Village and town. Overall very good stay... More

We're local Telluriders & enjoy the Angler & it's location in the San Miguel canyon. And generally, the restaurant serves very good food, with good service, but they're not always open when they say they will be. Check their website, but to be safe you need to call as well.

The rooms are clean and updated, which is a must. My wife and I did not like the shower head....it had a weak, wide spray pattern and no option to adjust. Also be aware the front desk personnel only work limited hours. When we booked our reservation, the information we received said you could check-in until 8pm. After finishing a... More

Stayed for a night on a motorcycle tour of Colorado. Room was clean and comfortable. Beds were a pleasure to sleep in. Shower was fantastic. Glad that we picked the Angler inn, would stay here again for sure.

My husband and I stayed at The Angler Inn for two nights on part of a two-week Colorado vacation. We chose The Angler Inn based on it's reviews on Trip Advisor, it's proximity to Telluride, and it's reasonable price. Of all the places we stayed on the trip, the Angler Inn was by far our favorite. We stayed in a... More

On a ski road trip, the Angler Inn offered comfortable clean rooms which you would expect. What was an extra bonus was the restaurant / bar at the front. It was an oasis between some place and the next. We went skiing the following day at Telluride, which was also a great little town and good size ski hill. Enjoyed... More

We selected this inn because of its proximity to Telluride. We wanted the quiet and the price was more reasonable than in town. We requested and received a ground floor room when we made our reservations. Although understaffed they seemed willing to help in anything we requested. The desk clerk told me the ice bucket was in the closet and... More
