The Paradox Valley Inn is definitely out of the way, but that is the beauty of it - away from it all. We stayed in the Escondido suite, very comfortable, with a great view of the Lone Cone, near Norwood, CO, and the San Miguel Mtns. near Telluride. Around the back, the LaSal Mtns. near Moab UT. The joy of nature is easily experienced at Paradox Valley Inn. The clean suite, comfortable and relaxing, provided a means to relax and enjoy the fabulous vistas. In the early evening the sun lights up the red rocks. Look in any direction to enjoy the splendor of nature. A delifghtful place!

having never seen mountains besides photos and a few in the distance while driving, i was floored at the pure magnitude. Their size and awesomeness is inspiring and you dont have to take your eyes off them i stayed in lago vista and the veiws were spectacular. the living/dining area has a wall of window that provides the most breathtaking... Felt like I was in the 1800s, a movie set. Off grid & quiet but so sunny the solar panels provided all the electricity I needed. I did conserve though so it wouldn't go down. A meditation Kiva! Shower & everything worked. Glad for privacy and happy to have the place to ourselves.

I had many relatives who have booked for many nights at this bed and breakfast. The owner does not live in the valley but about a hundred miles away. There is no one that stays here just someone who comes and cleans. The breakfast is cheap dehydrated junk and preserved items from big box stores. No communication between the owner... More
