My husband, our three young children, our two dogs and I just got home from a fantastic overnight at the Fireside Inn. The location is superb, so close to town yet it feels so private and serene at this idyllic setting. We got a riverside cabin and so glad we did, we woke to the sound of the water flowing... More

We just returned from our 3rd stay at Fireside and were impressed all over again! Great location just a 2 minute drive to town, yet you feel like you're off in the woods. Spotlessly clean, comfy beds with nice linens, beautiful landscaping....not a detail is overlooked! The ONLY complaint I have is that wi-fi is hit and miss, but maybe... More

Located just a mile outside Pagosa Springs this 15-cabin family-run business is quite outstanding. Located by the San Juan river, each cabin is delightfully designed, decorated and equipped - with even a rocking chair on the porch! The gardens are thoughtfully tended attracting a whole host of bird life that kept us enthralled. The cabins have everything you need for... More

We have stayed here once during the summer (Aug '12) and once during SpringBreak (Mar '14). Both stays have been exceptional. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation with wonderful accomodations, this place is for you. We have stayed in a 2 bedroom and also in a 1 bedroom that had a pull out bed in the living room... My wife and I stayed here for our 1 year anniversary and could not have been more impressed. The cabins are very well maintained, clean, and each one of them have just about everything inside that you could wish for. We found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. Our dog loved romping around the grounds, in and out... More

Our three night stay at the Fireside Inn was definitely one of the highlights of our trip out West. The cabin was neat as a pin, comfortable, and had everything one needs. If you decide to stay home and cook, there are barbeque grills or small kitchens fully equipped with a stove, and microwave. The setting along the tumbling river... More

Traveling with a couple that we didn't know real well, this location was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy. We had stayed here before and knew that the cabins are immaculately clean, beautifully appointed with local and indigenous art, fully stocked kitchen including coffee, filters, S&P, plenty of trash bags and beds that are to die for. The trees... More

These folks get the concept of CLEAN. Great cabins! Nice folks and a great location. I would recommend it to anyone. Excellent value all round , warm and cozy! Plan on coming back with the family to enjoy Pagosa. Much better value than the Springs. Only two minutes to all the action.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin next to the river during the New Years holiday. It was very nice, clean and quiet. We bought tickets to the Hot Springs at a discount from the front office and they supplied us with towels (you have to rent them at the Hot Springs). Fairly short drive up to Wolf Creek Ski... More

We stayed March 10-14 with our 3 teenage boys in a 2 bedroom cabin with futon in the living room. Cabin was cute & clean. We enjoyed the location on the river, quick drive into Pagosa and an easy drive early in the morning to hit the slopes at Wolf Creek. We arrived early, they accomodated us and were able... More
