The write-up for the Fireside Inn read that dogs and horses were welcome. We had no horses, but we did have a dog, and the write-up intrigued us. Welcomed does not begin to describe our reception. Everyone was so nice to us. We had a lovely cabin with a wood burning stove converted to gas in the sitting area, a... More

We loved our short stay at the Fireside Inn Cabins! We wish we could have stayed longer. The cabins are very quaint and cozy. We had cabin 108 that was on the river and it was very romantic. We had coffee on our porch overlooking the river. It is so quite and peaceful we are already talking about our next... More

Excellent Cabins. Stayed here in early February '13 during a ski trip. We stayed in a 2-bedroom cabin with a bunk-bed/trundle setup in one room, a queen bed in the other bedroom, and a futon in the living room. The cabin was immaculate, decently updated (without losing the rustic feel), and exceeded our expectations in just about every way. Staff... More

Stayed at Fireside for the first time in the wintertime.. It was beautiful. The snow was coming down and was cold, but the cabin was warm and welcoming when we walked in. Beautiful views. Stayed in 109 by the River and the view of the frozen river and trees and snow was awsome. As always, the cabin was perfect. Warm... More

We arrived on 12/27/12 and were treated by very friendly people. We stayed in cabin 206, which is right on the river. It was perfect. With two teen boys and a small dog, the cabin was the perfect size. We did not visit the hot tub but did use the washer and dryer - very convenient to have. Had no... More

This place is amazing and wonderful. The cabins are clean, stocked well, the surrounding is most beautiful. The colors were awsome. The owners are the best with customer service. We arrived later than we planned and our reception was great. Our reservation was for a cabin by the highway and oweners moved us closer to the river due to a... More

This place is amazing! Nestled in the beautiful San Juan river valley, the scenery is spectacular. The cabins are nicely furnished and extremely clean. This is the cleanest place I've stayed in 36 years of traveling. And as a mother of 2, that means alot. No detail was overlooked in terms of safety and convenience. We especially appreciated all the... More

What a great place. This is a lovely spot right on the river that's perfectly dog friendly as well. We grabbed our glasses of wine and walked down to the banks of the San Juan river (on property) and enjoyed the sounds of nature. Our only complaint would have been from our cabin (right by the office) there was a... More

The Inn was lovely. The cabins were very nice, had plenty of room, and were nicely furnished. We had a cabin by the river and were able to sit out and enjoy it and relax. Our dog was very welcome, complete with his own doggie bag with towels and bedding! He loved the river and even visited the horses in... More
