The pleasant staff made the two-night stay ok. The beds on the other hand made me want to cut the stay to one night. (would've switched hotels, but it's a long story). It was akin to sleeping on a canvas cot: off the floor, but lacked comfort. It was difficult for me to get to sleep. Our son's family woke... More

I brought my dog and we had a great time in Pagosa. We walked around the neighborhood a bit, but mostly hiked Treasure Falls and Piedra River walk. The hotel has a nice little pool and hot tub, decent continental breakfast, and it was within walking distance from the Pagosa Springs Brewery and Boss Hoggs. This isn't a hotel you... More

We stayed Easter Sunday. The staff was very helpful in suggesting dining options that would be open late on Easter. The rooms were very nice clean and updated. They have a nice indoor pool and spa. There was also a patio area out back with a grill.

If you are coming from Sedona, and need lodging, don't pass this up. About 5 miles before you get to Pagosa Springs on Highway 160. Not much to look at but the rooms were very clean. Not a lot of things in the vicinity, but a good restaurant (Boss Hogs) within walking distance. Continental breakfast not great, but acceptable. Would... More

We arrived into town later than planned and were pleasantly surprised to find a vacancy at the first motel we tried without a reservation. Its location on the west end of town was a big advantage even though getting to it via the frontage road was a little confusing. A nice clean room conveniently located near the rear entrance off... I had to stay here while waiting to get out of town during a snow storm. The staff is friendly, the continental breakfast was nicely supplied with a variety of goods and the room was clean and neat. The linens were clean and fresh smelling. The only issue I had was all the rooms were marked non-violent but the hallway... More

Thank you for taking the time to write us a review, it is the best tool we have to make our guests' stay as pleasant as possible. We will pass along your compliments to our great staff. Also, in response to the hallways smelling like smoke, we do have 2 smoking rooms at the end of the hall and sometimes... More

This place was 100% awesome. The staff was courteous and friendly. The indoor pool was great, and the internet connection was outstanding. I travel quite a bit for business, so I value a great internet connection. Oh and the breakfast was awesome. I will stay here again when I travel through here on business.

Basic no frills mom and pop run motel that has a good location and friendly staff and a basic La Quinta style free breakfast. Nothing fancy but a clean quiet sleep. Bring your own pillows they were the thinnest pillow I have ever encountered.

We stayed one night with our small dog. The hotel is well kept inside and out. And the rooms are very clean and comfortable. No complaints here. Good price and a great night's sleep. We would definitely stay here again. The front desk was also very friendly and helpful.

I'm not usually a big fan of Choice Hotel properties, but this one is an exception. This place is nothing fancy, but it's well-maintained and comfortable, and the people there are friendly and helpful. It's usually reasonably priced -- comparable to the small independents in town. Probably a downside for some travelers, it's the furthest west lodging in town, therefore... More
