Our family of 4 plus dog stayed 2 nights here. Upon arrival we found a "doggy" bag with a blanket for our dog to sleep on, treats, and waste bags. The room was very clean - no hint of past pets. The beds were very comfortable. The lodge was cozy with games and movies for the kids. It was very... More

It's really great when everything comes together and it all just works the way it's supposed to work. This is what we love to hear-everyone in the family was happy, including your pet! The Doggy Day Care is a neat idea-sometimes your dog needs some special recreation with other dogs, and their facility is excellent. We hope you will come... More

We were very happy with our stay at High Country Lodge. The service and the people were excellent. The rooms were clean, roomy and very nice. It was the perfect location for a day on snowboarding. Hope visit again.

We hope to see you again soon-looks like more snow coming in this weekend, so the boarding and skiing at Wolf Creek should be excellent for Spring Break! Thank you for writing a review and sharing your experience with others. We love it when snow, hospitality and good times come together and everyone is happy! More

We just spent four nights in a one of the two bedroom cabins. The staff were very friendly on our arrival, and the cabin was light, clean and woody. The breakfasts were good (although the egg was too salty) and we enjoyed the ski films (although the same film was shown two days in a row). There was a great... More

It sounds like you and your family had a great time while staying here--that's what we like to hear. But if we get too busy keeping breakfast going, we may forget to change the video-just let us know and we will fix it right away! Thank you so much for staying with us, and taking time to let others know... More

Clean, cozy, 3 hot tubes are decent, tubing on the side for kids (snow making). Breakfast served (waffles & coffee selection are great. Eggs are so so, eating area is cozy). If you are going to Wolf Creek, this is a good choice! Fair price too...

We always enjoy our skiiers and snowboarders in the winter. You get a great breakfast to start your day off right, discount ski tickets, hot tubs and a sauna to soak away the spills and chills. Ice and sympathy for your pulled muscles and sore knees is always available, along with restaurant recommendations. We look forward to seeing you all... More

We spent three nights in Cabin 409. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. The grounds are clean and the roads are plowed when it snows and they shovel the entrance to your cabin. Breakfast is good and hearty for one included with your room. The location is good being just east of Pagosa Springs. Staff is friendly and... More

Thanks for your nice review! This is a great place to use as a base when skiing Wolf Creek, but keep us in mind for summer and fall recreation as well-we serve the same good breakfast, and the hot tubs are wonderful in every season! We enjoyed having you as our guest and hope you will come back often to... More

Great friendly staff! Took the kids here to snow tube since there doesn't seem to be any other places nearby that do it. Was only 35$ for the four of us for two hours. We asked if we could get additional time if we wanted to and the nice woman at the front desk laughed and said we would be... More

You are so right-the tubing hill is a workout, but the reward is flying down the hill in the Colorado sunshine, and realizing that you exercised off all the calories from indulging in that rich dessert last night! And the best payoff of all, is the looks on the children's faces in the pics and videos you posted on Facebook,... More

My husband and I stay at the High Country Lodge every time we go to Pagosa, which is two to three times a year. The staff are always helpful and nice, the grounds are well taken care of and clean. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

We would definitely stay here again. Stayed 2 nights in Cabin 403 I believe. It was one of the small private cabins. Hosts were very friendly. Went tubing and that was fun. Nice breakfast in the morning. Overall it was a great stay!

Thank you for your nice review! Now that you had a great trip in the winter, you will have to come back in the summer and enjoy all the other things this area has to offer-like rafting, and floating on the river, fishing, hiking trails, trail riding, etc. This is truly a year round vacation spot, in one of the... Winter ski trips are always the best in deep, fresh powder and Wolf Creek didn't disappoint. But the real pleasure was coming back our room at the High Country Lodge. We warmed up in one of their three spotless hot tubs with a huge sauna while watching the tube riders on the hill nearby. Breakfast was a sensory delight with... More

Thank you for making us your "Base Camp" whenever you ski Wolf Creek! Sounds like you had a wonderful time while here. That's what it's all about! And right now, Wolf Creek is making up for lost time, with even more of that great powder expected today. Your review really showed us that you "get" what we are all about.... More

Nice quiet place with very cute cabins. Wood burning stove and full kitchen. We would stay again. Loved the hot tubs outside. Wi-fi wasn't great and cell service was non-existent. We really didn't care about those things, but I know some do. Beds weren't too comfortable. Close to skiing and they offer discounted tickets. Close to Pagosa Springs and offered... More

We are so glad you enjoyed your cabin. Many guests feel they offer a true Colorado experience and return time and again to their favorite one. I am sorry you feel our beds weren't comfortable-I wish I had more information from you to address that. We put new mattresses in every unit less than a year ago, and so far... More
