This is a fabulous privately owned hotel outside the town of Pagosa Springs on the highway heading to Wolf Creek. We stayed there the week of Christmas and had a wonderful time. There is a tubing hill, a wonderful hot breakfast every morning, with teas and coffee available throughout the day. The grounds are beautiful with nice ponds and a... More

We had such a fabulous Christmas season this year, with lots of returning families, but many new families as well. Everyone seemed to have a great time, and we had fun seeing old friends and making new ones. We enjoyed your well thought out review-it will help other travelers with their holiday plans as well. We are just happy you... More

Over Christmas our extended family rented a hotel room AND a cabin for four nights. We had 8 adults and children in our group. The hotel room had two queen beds, TV, fridge, microwave, and other standard amenities. Cabin 405 had a bedroom with two queen beds and a fold-out couch in the living area. The kitchen has a small... Staff and facilities were excellent! We stayed in the lodge itself. The room was very clean and appointments were above expectations. I appreciated the personal touches including board games and free movies. The breakfast had a wide variety of healthy choices. The kids had a blast sledding on the hill. The only minus was that the walls are very thin.... More

The hotel staff was great. The were helpful with weather information and activities in the area. The rooms were very clean. Our kids enjoyed the tubing hill and we enjoyed the hot tub. Breakfast was great! It got loud when people ran up and down the porch early, early in the morning and you could hear people walking around upstairs.... More

We are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay and had lots of fun. We enjoyed meeting you and your family. We do apologize for the noise, but when we are sold out, this can occasionally happen. For your next visit, I would suggest either an upstairs room, or a cabin if it is a major holiday for a bit... More

We spent one night here on 12/23/14 in their single room cabin. Cute cabins with a wood burning fireplace. Nice set of 3 hot tubs that they keep super hot which we enjoyed after our afternoon of snow shoeing. You get one bundle of wood and can buy another for $6 - to have a decent fire you really need... We went on our family vacation trip and rented a lodge cabin. There was 2 adults and 1 child. The cabin was extremely comfortable and cozy. This was the ideal place to stay, especially if you are planning on skiing at Wolf Creek. I stayed in a small cabin that was very comfortable, clean, and had a rustic feel that really felt like a vacation. The reason I say especially if you plan to ski, is because it is not located downtown like some of the... More
