This place has a large pool, a smaller hot soaking pool, and a hot indoor pool that are fed by a natural hot springs. The Hotel has not been updated, so it is not as cheery and colorful as a present designs are, but it is very serviceable and clean. Hotel clerks are very nice. Great deal for natural hot... More

This might have been a great place years ago, but it is in need of quite a few repairs. Peeling paint (where you can't see it until you have checked in), loose and torn carpet on the stairs to the second level, no temperature controls that worked in our room (only a fan inside an AC unit that only blew... This hotel is a good choice if you are traveling with children and want to swim with them in the large heated pool. This way, it is convenient to simply go from your room to the pool anytime of the day or evening. Personally we don't patronize The Springs Resort for reasons I will not go into here, and the... There are 3 places in Pagosa to use the Springs. The other 2 are more expensive and trendy. This place is very basic but the water is still the water from the hot springs and that's what we wanted. It had a large pool filled with the water as well as an outdoor hot tub and 2 private male or... More

This was a spur of the moment, one night romantic getaway, booked sight-unseen. For $90 for a single, we assumed we would get something nice. The front desk lady was nice but the place was run-down looking from the outside. "Resort and Spa" is misleading...it is a 1950's-esque motor hotel that in any other city, would cater to locals for... More

We just needed a room for the night, so our $ 117 seemed like top dollar for an ordinary room with no b'fast (not sure why this is listed as a B & B). No one was in the office the next AM, and I could find no ice machine, so my resourceful husband used a nearby shovel and chipped... More

We have been unable to change our designation as a "bed & breakfast" on TripAdvisor, but definitely feel that we are better described as a hotel. My understanding is that, because we do not have a 24-hour front desk, TripAdvisor has placed us in the "bed & breakfast" category. Our front desk is open from 8am to 10pm daily and... More

I stayed here for one night with my kids & mom. We went to Pagosa for a quick get-away and didn't want to pay $250 for the other hotel. This one had a great room with 2 queen beds, plenty of space, coffee pot, fridge and attractive wood furnishings. The hot springs pool is why we came and it was... More

Rooms are ok, nothing remarkable but clean. They have fridges but no microwave. Once in a while you can get a discounted rate on the rooms but they usually run around $120. Kind of expensive for what you get for a room but I guess you are paying for the hot springs access. The hot springs range from warm to... More

3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2014

The first weekend in November we spontaneously decided to try out the hot springs in Pagosa. We didn't make any reservations, we just went. We stopped first at "The Springs" resort, and were treated like cattle. We next stopped at the "Quality Inn" and weren't even treated. After standing in line without any acknowledgement whatsoever we left. The "Healing Waters"... More

They have great Hot Springs, they aren't diluted with city water. The pool is drained and cleaned once a week and is actually hotter on Fridays. They are not over crouded and great price for what you are getting.
