The first weekend in November we spontaneously decided to try out the hot springs in Pagosa. We didn't make any reservations, we just went. We stopped first at "The Springs" resort, and were treated like cattle. We next stopped at the "Quality Inn" and weren't even treated. After standing in line without any acknowledgement whatsoever we left. The "Healing Waters"... More

They have great Hot Springs, they aren't diluted with city water. The pool is drained and cleaned once a week and is actually hotter on Fridays. They are not over crouded and great price for what you are getting.

Family friendly, old, and simple. Make sure to bring your own water. I would go back there to get a massage from one of the 2 finest masseurs in town!!!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely the most professional and most skilled workers in town.

first of all my daughter and I stay here once a year. We love it. This time. The people on top of us sounded like they were elephants. Then our room did not get cleaned the first morning. I did report it when we returned that evening but by then what was the use. the people that usely work the... More

Came to Pagosa as a couple to enjoy Colorfest weekend and hot air balloon rally. Since we looked forward to enjoying hot springs and spa amenities, we ruled out most of the chain hotel-only options. It was important to have these facilities on site. A quick cost comparison with the big lodge-and-springs facility which is right across the street led... More

Thank you for choosing to spend ColorFest weekend with us - there's nothing like waking up downtown and strolling among the colorful hot air balloons as they begin to ascend! We apologize for the issue you experienced with the bathroom door and have passed this on to our maintenance department for repair. So glad you were able to enjoy, not... More

We arrived to a friendly and informative greeting. Our room was clean, large and well laid out. The bed was lovely, slept soundly. The hotel was a little pricey. However, the location is right on the river and walking distance to downtown. The added bonus is the springs in the hotel, come and go as many times as you like... More

I love this place and have been back repeatedly through the years. The hot swimming pool is wonderful and the bathing pool in the bathhouse is almost too hot to get into. The temperature is supposedly 108 but locals claimed it was 115. The steam room is very relaxing. The rooms are spacious. Reservoir Hill (city mountain park) is right... More

Pretty seedy and tired, but basically clean with it's own dated character. Way cheap compared to the upscale "The Springs" across the street. Rooms are basic, at least ours, (Room 2). The place has a very nice small park as a common area. Good to relax, picnic, smoke, (rooms are all non-smoking), grill etc. Very convenient. Some parts of resort... More

We completely enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable, large shower with plenty of warm water and pressure, and friendly staff. Soaking in the "hot tub" spring and swimming in the very large pool was both relaxing and quiet. I appreciated the small number of quests, quiet surroundings and big towels provided for pools. We had a great... More

If you are into staying in period hotels, this one is a good one to pick. One can tell it has some history behind it and it was fun seeing pictures of what the area looked like back in the day. My husband and i stayed in the newer section of the resort. Room was clean, bathroom had been brought... More
