A very basic, old motel. If you come to PS to hike, ski, fish etc., or need a place because of work, this is it. Clean, on the main drag, close to the Springs and several eateries. Every room has it's own entrance, so you can park just several feet from your door. No hallways, lobbies stairs to navigate.

Friendly welcome, clean, little noise, right in Pagosa Springs. refrigerator and fans in room, no smoke smell in room, free breakfast. Nice and quiet night before bicycle riding to Creede. DO RECOMMEND

In my opinion the Pinewood Inn is the best of the three cheap motels near the hot springs. If you stay here, bring ear plugs because the walls are paper thin! The room we had was clean and pleasant, there is a continental breakfast - mostly coffee and cereal and homemade pumpkin bread. It's also right next to Kip's which... More

A fantastic location to walk around beautiful Pagosa Springs and near the river! Location and friendly staff make up for the ok rooms. The price is great so don't expect the newest rooms, but still fine and clean. They also have a fridge and microwave which is nice for the price.

Though showing it's age, this place is very well kept. Super clean and very nice owner/manager. Nothing special about the room but decent for sure. Easy access to room from parking spot with mini fridge. Extremely well located with tons of restaurants and services up and down the street it's on.

Found this place and was drawn by the good price and ability to walk wherever we needed to go. The owner was pretty accommodating about our dogs - my wife forgot to mention them when she booked over the phone. We didn't go to Pagosa to spend our days in a hotel, so a 4 star resort wasn't necessary...the Pinewood... More

This is a quaint older motel, reminiscent of the Route 66 era. Rooms are very clean but a bit worn. I needed a cheap motel since its just me traveling for my own business and I don't need much. Clean room, decent shower, comfy bed and a TV. No AC but nights were cool with a nice breeze. Internet not... More

For a good price, you get a roof, a clean bed, a tv and a bathroom. Don't even bother about breakfast. The staff is kind, but the whole structure is very old. Anyway, a good price for being so close to Wolf Creek.

Don't stay here in the winter if you expect a heated room. The room was heated with an ancient heater and would not heat the entire room. It doesnt have a fan driven system. With no heating in the bathroom, taking a shower is like being in the outdoors. It was freezing. They do provide coffee and small breakfast in... More

We have stayed many times at this quaint little spot right out of the 60's, but two changes of ownership in a few short years have not been for the better. Grouting was crumbling everywhere in the bathroom, walls had been carelessly repaired and repainted in a color that didn't even match the original. Sheets were cheap and scratchy, and... More
